Pearl Fey (Japanese: Harumi Ayasato) is a supporting character in the Ace Attorney franchise. She is the tritagonist of the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, and a supporting character in the Apollo Justice Trilogy.
She is the daughter of Morgan Fey. She was born an abundance of Spiritual power making her prodigy much to her mother's delight. She is the cousin of Maya Fey. As a child, due to the amount of divorces in Khurain Village she became a massive Maya/Phoenix shipper. Even though, Pearl and Maya have a very close relationship, Morgan Fey attempted twice to kill Maya to install Pearl as the new master.
History[]
Until she met Phoenix Wright in 2017 at age 8, she lived a very sheltered life and never left Khurain Village. As an example, she didn't even know what a train was. She only lived her mother Morgan and her cousins Maya and Mia Fey. Mia after what happened to Misty Fey (the master of the Khurain Channeling Technique) in the "DL-6 Incident" Mia decided to leave Khurain Village to become a defense attorney. Since Khurain Village is full of bad marriages that end horribly she wants nothing but the best for her favorite cousin Maya which is the explanation for why she pairs Wright and Maya.
Pearl first meets Phoenix Wright during the events of Reunion, and Turnabout, where Dr. Turner Grey is murdered during a channeling session and Maya is framed for his murder by both Morgan Fey and Mimi Miney. After Wright is gifted Maya's Magatama by Maya he takes it to Pearl who cries and agrees to fill it with spiritual powers and to partner with "Mr. Nick". After Maya is found not guilty, Morgan was arrested and sent to prison for being an accomplice to Mimi's crime. During Morgan's imprisonment Pearl would often visit her mother and during one of these visits Morgan told her daughter to go back home and get some instructions that she left and to fulfill them. However, before this she accompanied Maya and Phoenix to a circus show and was involved during Maya's kidnapping and the theft of the Sacred Urn. During these cases, if Maya was unavailable she would help Wright by channeling Mia Fey.
