Perseus "Percy" Jackson is the titular main protagonist of the Disney+ series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He is the demigod son of Poseidon and the mortal Sally Jackson who must return Zeus' Master Bolt before the summer solstice or else war will rage against the world.
He is portrayed by Walker Scobell.

Background[]
Percy Jackson was born August 18th to Sally Jackson and Poseidon. However he spent most of his life unaware of his father's identity. Unfortunately, his mother remarried Gabe Ugliano When Percy was young; however the two never got along due to his step-father's abrasive nature. When he was younger, he saw things he couldn't believe, such as a black Pegasus on the roof or mechanical animals wandering New York. He often went to private schools and was usually a loner until he met Grover Underwood, his first real friend. He also used the Mystomagivc card games to test Percy's Greek knowledge.
Unknown to him at the time, Grover was actually a Satyr sent to protect Percy at all costs and the method Magic cards were secretly demigod training lessons. Unfortunately the two were often bullied by Nancy Bobofit, an obnoxious twelve year old girl.

Like his book counterpart, Percy is a kind person but can also be impulsive, easy to anger and still retains his sarcasm. However, he is understandably angry at Grover when they met again at the summer cabin due to ratting him out to the school board and getting him expelled from school. Due to being solely raised by his mother and Poseidon neglecting him for most of his life, Percy outright states that he is Sally Jackson's son when Dionysus refers to him as the son of the Sea God. However, his opinions on his father changes as the first season progresses. He is initially annoyed and cynical upon discovering that he is a demigod, but quickly grows into the role. At first rejecting the quest to return Zeus' Master Bolt, Percy is motivated to venture to the underworld when he learns from Grover that his mother is still alive.
Physical Appearance[]
Percy Jackson is a 12-year old boy with curly blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. Like the rest of the campers, he wears the Camp Half-Blood orange shirt.

- Underwater Breathing: Percy can withstand breathing while he is Underwater. He also has the ability to speak under water as well.
- Healing: Whenever Percy is in the water, he is able to heal any wounds inflicted on him, leaving no visible mark. When Annabeth pushed Percy into the lake nearby, he heals himself from the wounds that he sustained after his fight with Clarisse and her siblings.

- Combatant: Percy managed to defeat the Minotaur by himself by killing it with its own horn and fought Clarisse and her three siblings all at once.

Trivia[]
- Percy seems to lack the ability to stay dry underwater.
- Unlike his book counterpart, who has black hair and green eyes, Percy in the TV series has blonde hair and blue eyes. He indirectly swaps hair colors with Annabeth, who is now black haired instead.
