Percy Weasley (22 August 1976) is a character in the Harry Potter books. He is the third son of Arthur and Molly Weasley, the younger brother of Bill and Charlie and the older brother of Fred, George, Ron and Ginny.
He was also a prefect during his time at Hogwarts as a student and he was also outraged at Draco Malfoy for calling Hermione Granger a mudblood. He is a very by-the-rules and no-nonsense person and eventually disowns his family out of misguided loyalty to the corrupt Ministry of Magic. After Cornelius Fudge was been overthrown by the wizarding community for being a liar - failing to announce the return of Voldemort, discrediting Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore, informing of Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident and allowing Dolores Umbridge to become Headmistress of Hogwarts -, he still works at the Ministry of Magic under to Rufus Scrimgeour. He eventually sees the error of his ways and redeems himself by participating in the Battle of Hogwarts and avenges his fallen brother Fred.
After the battle, Percy married a woman named Audrey and had two daughters named Molly and Lucy.
- Many fans believe, due to Percy's ambition regarding being a prefect and working for the Ministry of Magic, he would have been a better for for the House of Slytherin rather than Gryffindor
