Peridot is a female Papillon Jewelpet and one of the main Jewelpets that appeared in the first series. Representing Dream Fulfillment, Peridot is a Gajin and a fluent English speaker who sometimes paired alongside Luna and Milky working in the Strawberry Cafe. She also made several appearances in Jewelpet Twinkle and Kira Deco and has a bigger role as a main character in Jewelpet Sunshine.
She is voiced by Yuki Kaida in Japanese of the anime.
Appearance[]
Peridot is a female Papillon who is yellow in fur color, except for her ears and fluff, which were colored in Green and White. She also has yellowish-green Jewel Eyes. Peridot always wears a green butterfly hair clip on the right side of her head and a Flower Garland on her neck. Sometimes in the first series, she is seen wielding her own microphone.
Personality[]
Peridot is a popular, energetic Jewelpet who is an English Speaker. She sometimes says some English words because of her bilingual skills. She somehow has a big sister attitude towards Rald, especially when she gets angry.

Peridot's charm is a roundish oval shape like Ruby's that's green and white with a lamb face on top with a star shaped Peridot in the center.

Peridot special talent is dream fullfillment, she will make sure your dreams will come true. In Jewelpet Twinkle, she has the ability to see through your dream.

- Peridot's Jewel Motif is the Peridot, a gem-quality forsteritic olivine which has a chemical composition of (Mg, Fe)2SiO4, with Mg in greater quantities than Fe.
- As one of the Birthstone Jewelpets, Peridot, alongside Nix, symbolizes the month of August.
- Peridot is the only Jewelpet who is fluent in English, first series wise. This is due to her Voice Actor Yuki Kaida know how to speak English well during the dubbing of the anime. Coincidentally, she also voiced Akira Nanase in the first series.
- Peridot's personality varies within each series. As in all of her incarnations describes her as a Gajin, Twinkle had those character aspects removed, only to be restored in the airing of Sunshine.
