Perle is a supporting character and the tritagonist of Sailor Moon Super S: the Movie (also known as Black Dream Hole in the English dub). He is the reluctant younger brother of former fellow fairy Poupelin and once allied with Queen Badiane. Perle, like the other fairies, possesses a magical flute, but unlike them, he doesn't mesmerize children with it. He, instead, feels sympathy for them. Befriending Rini at the beginning of the film causes his loyalty to Badiane to waver. Once she is captured, Perle allies with the Sailor Scouts and teams up with them. Notwithstanding his gender, in both versions, Perle is voiced by a woman, like most Japanese cartoon boys.
