Peter "Pete" Joseph Randall is a supporting character in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season Two. He acted as the secondary leader of the Cabin Group. He was also Nick's maternal uncle.
He was voiced by Brian Sommer.
Personality[]
Pete is shown to be somewhat harsh and pragmatic, but is deep down a kind individual with the group's best interests in my mind. He's caring, sympathetic, respectful and loyal like most of the other Cabin Group members are. However, he does seem to have a strained relationship with his nephew, Nick the person he knows and loves the most and is often finding difficulties in repairing the bond they have. Being one of the leaders of his group, Pete always tries to find reasonable and logical solutions.
History[]
Season Two[]
Pete appears in the first episode with Luke when they both rescue Clementine from walkers and carry her away from them. Along the way, the two men introduce themselves to Clementine who tells them her name before they see her bite. She tells them it's a dog bite, but they don't believe her. Pete walks up to Clementine to check the injury and asks her if she's telling the truth. She can answer yes and that is enough to convince Pete who comments that he has "a good bullshit detector" in Luke. They then take him to their cabin and the other survivors blame them for doing this. Although Pete believes Clementine, he agrees with Carlos that it's up to the next day whether she will turn into a walker or not. Later, Pete and the others discover that Clementine stitched up her wound and she repeats that she's still not bitten.
The next day, Pete goes fishing with Clementine and Nick. Along the way, Pete talks with Clementine about the other survivors and gives her advice on how to survive. Afterwards, they arrive at the river and discover the corpses of men who were part of Roman's group. While parting ways, Pete is briefly attacked by a Walker who bites him on the ankle. At this point, Clementine can choose to go with either Nick or Pete and if she leaves with Nick, she will watch Pete being devoured by the other walkers.
If she chooses to leave with Pete, the two will flee into the woods and hide in an abandoned truck. The two talk and Pete, weakened, tells Clementine he's scared. Then, Clementine offers to follow her to say goodbye to Nick and Pete accepts. However, he is unable to run and sacrifices himself so Clementine can get away. The next day, the Cabin Group returns to the scene of the attack and sadly discovers Pete's corpse.
