Biography[]

Investigation[]

Investigating the body of Allison Kerry, Strahm and his partner Lindsey Perez are convinced there was a third accomplice, since the other two formerly Jigsaws are not suitable to put a woman into the trap. Through the trials, Peter strongly believes that Daniel Rigg was one of the accomplices, until taking a rethought and realize that Daniel is being tempted into seeing the view of Jigsaw, which he told the others to stop him first, before seeing Lindsey get hit by the scarps of a Jigsaw doll. Peter soon switch his attention to Jeff Denlon, and followed his way into the final room, whom he unlocked it. Jeff, who is desperate to save his daughter thought Strahm is a accomplice, but was shot my Strahm before he could give him a fatal blow. Strahm ended up being locked in by Hoffman.

After being locked inside of the sickroom, he does not heed the warning given to him by Jigsaw to not proceed further and is attacked by Mark Hoffman, who locks Strahm inside of an inescapable water box trap with the intent of drowning him. Strahm is able to survive by giving himself a tracheotomy with his pen, ruining Hoffman heroic seige, as he was taken to safety and rested there. He was kicked out of the Saw investigation team and visited by Hoffman, who claims him about his rage, he saids that he feels as if someone else is planning all of this, and they're in their forces instead of being out. Later, he managed to tracks down a palace, whom interhited by Hoffman. He make his investigation to a glass box room, and a radio tape, which played and tells him about a hint to escape the trap, he then hides and camped for Hoffman, as they both fought a brief fight before Peter push him inside the box.

Death[]

Strahm refuses to listen and throws Hoffman in the coffin, confidently believing he brought him down. As Hoffman smiles smugly, the rest of the tape reveals that the room will be his tomb while he will die being the accomplice. The walls begin to contract and while Hoffman is safely lowered to the floor, Strahm is crushed to death.

Post-Mortem[]

Strahm’s post-mortem appears in this film, revealing his body to be a very bloody and messy meat-like corpse. Hoffman finds Strahm's severed hand still clinging to the ceiling grate when he resets the walls in the glass coffin room and uses it to further incriminate Strahm as a Jigsaw accomplice.

Personality[]

Strahm was a generally rude individual, tending to speak down on both suspects and members of the police. The only people he seemed to respect to some degree were his colleagues at the FBI. Perez described him as "a bit of a hothead", as he often reacted in a loud, aggressive way when things didn't work the way he wanted and got angry rather quick.

Despite this, he was a dedicated agent, eager to bring justice to criminals. Therefore, he was generally wary of the people around him. To convict criminals, he went to great lengths and thereby sometimes acted rather reckless, as seen when he entered the Gideon Plant without waiting for the reinforcements to arrive. He was also very intelligent, as he was the only person who had been able to find out about Hoffman's identity even without any help of his colleagues.

While most of the time he acted in a harsh and sometimes intimidating way, he tended not to show his emotions. However, he was still capable of showing empathy as seen when he called Perez' mother or mourned Perez' death. Due to his general personality, he often covered up his grief with outburst of rage and anger.
