Petunia Pretty Paws is a supporting character in the Geronimo Stilton book series. She is a TV reporter and environmentalist, as well as the love interest of Geronimo Stilton and aunt of Bugsy Wugsy.
Description[]
Petunia Pretty Paws loves nature, animals and the environment and has dedicated her life to protecting them. As a TV reporter, she frequently travels around the world with her twin brother Wolfgang Wild Paws. Petunia also collects necklaces and amber trinkets from the places she visits. Their family has lived for many generations on a farm in the Giant Sequoia Valley, in Dolphin Bay. In her spare time, she plays the flute and sings. Petunia and Geronimo both have crushes on each other that they have not been brave enough to admit, but Petunia is more open about her feelings.
Personality[]
Petunia Pretty Paws has a kind, friendly, and sweet personality. She is caring toward mice and other animals, though her benevolence has also not stopped her from occasionally losing patience with Geronimo or being inconsiderate to him. Besides her good-natured attitude, her most significant characteristic is her love for being outdoors in nature and traveling.

Down and Out Down Under[]
Petunia and Wolfgang invite Geronimo on a research trip to Australia, where they are to film a documentary about the native wildlife. Petunia parachutes through the window of his office, knocking out Geronimo for a brief time, followed by Wolfie when she wakes him up. Petunia first takes away Geronimo's glasses and makes him get contact lenses for the convenience of their trip. Petunia and Wolfie then walk him home and help him with packing his clothes and have him change into a new outfit for the trip, before they fly to Australia. They swim with dolphins and visit Uluru, where they meet an Anangu tribe. The next day, Petunia, Wolfie and the tribe leave Geronimo alone in the bush to test his survival skills. After Geronimo proves himself, he and the Paws return to Mouse Island. The next day, they visit the Paws Family Farm in the Giant Sequoia Valley and spend time with Grandma Paws.
Geronimo's Valentine[]
Geronimo has a date with Petunia on Valentine's Day at the restaurant Le Squeakery and tries hard to impress her. After running into trouble, Geronimo arrives at Le Squeakery two hours late and stinking, which irritates Petunia and causes her to storm off. Petunia forgives him after Hercule Poirat has apologized to her for ruining their date and throws a birthday party for Geronimo with his family and friends.
Save the White Whale![]
After filming a documentary about penguins in Antarctica, Petunia stops by Geronimo's office and is invited by him to a vacation in the Bay of Whales. Taking Benjamin and Bugsy Wugsy with them, they go to the beach and whale watching. During a walk on the beach at night, they come across a white whale in the middle of the beach. Petunia calls the rescue team and they save the whale's life. When they return to New Mouse City, Petunia decides to start a project to have the Bay of Whales declared a protected natural marine park, which becomes a success.
The Mystery of Venice[]
Along with Thea and Bugsy Wugsy, Petunia takes Geronimo shopping at the New Mouse City Flea Market. As an apology for dragging him out shopping, Petunia buys a crystal gondola with colored stones and fake diamonds for Geronimo, thinking he likes it because she saw him staring at it. When Geronimo needs to win a regatta in Venice, Petunia comes to his aid along with Thea, Trap, Benjamin and Bugsy, and they win. Petunia is annoyed when a stranger in love with Geronimo kisses him, but Geronimo explains the situation.
The Enormouse Pearl Heist[]
Petunia visits Geronimo at his house when he is taking a bath and invites him on a trip to Shell Island, where she is supposed to film her next documentary. They bring Benjamin and Bugsy Wugsy with them. After Geronimo finds the giant oyster known as the Eye of the Ocean, Petunia films it on her camera. Simon, Sinbad and Serena, the children of Pinch Provolone, the manager of the island's only hotel, steal her camera and Geronimo's laptop, as they wanted to steal the oyster for themselves. Having deduced their intentions, Petunia takes the plug from their boat and summons Professor Gil Fishywhiskers via Uncle Grayfur to take the Eye of the Ocean to the New Mouse City Aquarium. Geronimo and Petunia guard the oyster for the night before it leaves in the morning. The next day, the Provolone children and Captain Crooked Paw steal the Eye of the Ocean and replace it with a fake, but Petunia, Benjamin, Bugsy and Aunt Sweetfur are aware of the truth and feign ignorance so the thieves would not suspect them. The Provolone children and the captain have hidden the oyster in a cave in the west side of the beach and kidnapped Professor Fishywhiskers. Petunia instructs Geronimo, Benjamin and Bugsy to head to the cave at night and bring Aunt Sweetfur's flute. Benjamin bellows at the crooks in a deep voice reverberating throughout the cave, pretending to be a ghost, before Petunia opens the shell of the oyster by playing the flute. As Captain Crooked Paw and the Provolone siblings are about to grab the pearl in the oyster, Petunia stops playing, shutting the shell on their paws. Benjamin scares them into giving up the Eye of the Ocean. After that, the oyster is retrieved and stored in the New Mouse City Aquarium, where Petunia explained to visitors about the oyster. Photographers started taking photos of Petunia with Geronimo right by her side.
