Antonov tells Foxtrot that The Sand has stripped away nearly everything of value, due to his past, But that hasn't stopped The fool hardy from trying. Foxtrot tells Antonov that she is neither, and introduces herself to Antonov and asks him what part of The Steel Dunes is this and The Old Town. The sandstorms here are unnervingly vicious, they claim lives, But they are also very good at hiding secrets and that is why he is here. Antonov also tells Foxtrot that architects established a network of underground tunnels, and a good way to get around an unforgiving city. Foxtrot then replied to Antonov with all due respect by telling him to stop and enough with the history lesson, She is here for the one they call Dame and tells him to take her to Dame and The Phantom Corps will make it worth his while. Antonov then confirms that knows of Dame and asks Foxtrot if Dame is a friend of her or an enemy, Foxtrot replies it depends on how she answers her questions, But her own allegiance is clear, it's to the human race and it is vital for the continuation of humanity that she'll find her. Suddenly, One of The Dark Covenant Soldiers grab Antonov hostage while Foxtrot surrenders, Foxtrot then tells Dame that The Phantom Corps wants to talk. Dame is now disgusted and tells Foxtrot that talk is cheap, much to her mocked satisfaction. She saw that Foxtrot is goading her on, She'll bite. Foxtrot asks Dame that has she set herself up as Queen of this Crumbling little Kingdom and Is that what's going on here and couldn't cut it in Europe. Dame then replies to Foxtrot that her and The Dark Covenant Soldiers are Archeologists and It's all very noble minded, Dame tells Foxtrot that they're unearthing Atlas Technology that the world has forgotten. Foxtrot replies to Dame about selling that technology to the highest bidder, Dame replies to Foxtrot that Archeologists have to eat. Foxtrot tells Die that one of those Technologies she unearthed involve dormant Orbital Lasers and a dozen of them by their count and what she've activated is an existential threat to the world. Dame then taunts Foxtrot that she called it an existential threat, she called it a level playing field. The Dark Covenant will be given a Seat at The Table, Bend geopolitics to their will and all at The Touch of a Few Buttons. Foxtrot then asks Dame that is a few button all it took to carry out The Strike on Urzikstan, Dame angrily replies to Foxtrot about Just one button and she hated Urzikstan and calls out The Dark Covenant and she is tired of this, and barks orders at The Dark Covenant Soldiers to kill Foxtrot and Antonov. Just then, Antonov then headbutts and kills One of The Dark Covenant Soldiers and takes a MP5 while sighing and exclaimed that this cannot end well, Foxtrot and Antonov take cover behind the Destroyed Atlas Sign and Destroyed Car from The Firefight from Dame and The Dark Covenant. Foxtrot calls out Dame and warns her that Activating these weapons is playing right into The Iron Will's hands, The AI will find a way to control The Orbital Lasers, She firmly tells her that this isn't a level playing field and she is leveling the entire playing field for all humankind. Dame then scoffs and taunts Foxtrot that she wants her to what, give the orbital lasers to Foxtrot, But she refuses. Dame tells Foxtrot that she rather tend to get along better with machines instead of people, So she'll take the risk, Dame also tells Foxtrot that she has a great relationship with her Toaster Oven and asks her why not The Iron Will. After The Firefight stops, Foxtrot tells Dame that she didn't realize The Legendary Dame would be so cowardly as to hide behind her pretend army and her stolen military tech, and asks Dame if she's just a common thief, much to chagrin. Dame then asks Foxtrot how's that for predictable and tackles Foxtrot down the underground bunker tunnels, causing Foxtrot to drop her shotgun. Just Then, Dame and Foxtrot start fighting each other, Dame tells Foxtrot to stand still. Foxtrot tells Dame that she is reckless, no self control and it will be her downfall. Dame then taunts Foxtrot that she is nothing but controlled, The Errand Girl for The Phantom Corps, Babysitter to her worthless brother named Cipher. Foxtrot then replies to Dame that she can't possibly believe The Orbital Lasers belong to The Dark Covenant and asks her What's her angle and being Ready to betray The Dark Covenant at the first sign of a bigger payday, Foxtrot then uses her elbow to hit Dame and tells her "See? Reckless." As Dame collapses down, She taunts and antagonizes Foxtrot that she'll find She is everything but reckless and asks her if it's a bit impulsive, Dame agrees but never reckless. Dame sinisterly pulls out a dead man's switch detonator if she let go, Their full Array of Orbital Lasers will rain hell on her location, The Steel Dunes will return to the sands and her with it. Suddenly, Antonov ropes down and tries to intervene, But Foxtrot tells Antonov to keep his distance from Dame. Foxtrot then aims her pistol at Dame and tells her that she is making a terrible mistake, and anything she has unearthed here risks geopolitical stability, But more than that, any systems she'd bring back online will risk an Iron Will Takeover. Dame then stands up weakly and replies to Foxtrot about Risk Stability and This world could use a little Chaos, a new power structure, new leadership and asks her why not The Dark Covenant and not herself and gives a warning to give up while she still can. Antonov tells Foxtrot that reminded himself never to take her up on one of her offers and they seem to end badly, Foxtrot then tells and asks Antonov about these tunnels and they lead deep underground. Antonov replies to Foxtrot that the underground tunnels lead half a kilometer, at least. Foxtrot then asks Antonov about any entrances to those tunnels nearby, Antonov then agrees with Foxtrot and pauses a second and asks Foxtrot that he is not going to like this. Just Then, Antonov watches Foxtrot firing her pistol at the Dead man's switch detonator, wounding Dame's hand and causing Dame to yelp. Suddenly, The Orbital Lasers rain fire at The Steel Dunes aka The Old Town. As Foxtrot and Antonov watch the destruction, Antonov tells Foxtrot that Dame wasn't bluffing and The Steel Dunes will reduced to cinders, Foxtrot then agrees with Antonov and lets find that tunnel entrance quickly and calls him a fellow rat. Tactical Retreat[]

Elsewhere, In The Phantom Corps' Compound, Michigan, USA, Cipher walks up to Woods who is in his desk while telling him to listen and enough is enough. Woods then tells Cipher that he is literally dying and asks him is what you're saying and why, Cipher replied to Woods that he might as well be and he has been holed up at The Compound for months and this is basically house arrest. Woods then tells Cipher that he is wanted by 25 countries and asks him that he wants house arrest or real arrest or worse, Cipher then uses his action moves and replied that he wants some action and he is an elite operator. Woods then agrees that being an elite operator and action sounds fancy, Cipher tells Woods if elite skills aren't kept sharp, they wither and decay, like him and calls Woods 'Old Timer'. Woods then acknowledges and he has got the cure for what ails him and their Underground Training Room and runs on Virtual Simulations and they call it The Retreat, and maybe he'd like to partner up on a training sim, and keep those elite skills sharp. Cipher then asks Woods about Partner up and tells him a senior citizen like him would only slow him down, Woods tells Cipher that maybe he'd be the one keeping him out of trouble and The Retreat might be a simulation, but it doesn't mess around. Cipher then agrees and shakes Woods' hand that he've piqued his interest, but warns woods that this better not be some Kids' Arcade Game, Woods replied to Cipher that he is not gonna believe it when he sees it. Cipher tells Woods that he has seen a lot of things and tells him not to count on it, Woods replies that he won't.

Later, in an Underground Section of The Phantom Corps' Compound, The Retreat, Cipher arrives at The Retreat and meets up with Woods with to Virtual Reality Headsets, Cipher is now amazed that he's here and asks Woods is this The Retreat and claims that could use a little redecorating. Woods then tells Cipher about The Retreat is heavily based on U.S. Military Technology that was originally developed for Wargaming, Cipher replied to Woods about Heavily based and claimed that he stole it. Woods replied to Cipher and scoffs about stealing it and tells him that he is a taxpayer and he can't steal what he can pay for and tells him to put on his headset. As Woods and Cipher wear The Virtual Reality Headsets, Woods tells Cipher that These Sims are expressly designed to push users to their limits. Cipher then asks Woods is that so and tells him that he is betting and he does not even break a sweat, As they start The Retreat, Woods tells Cipher that they are ready and activated The Retreat Simulation. Inside The Retreat Simulation, Woods and Cipher are wearing Their Simulation Alive and Absolute Resolution Outfits, much to their satisfaction. Woods tells Cipher that he figured since he cooped up and he might like The Wilderness Survival Program, Cipher then agrees with Woods and asks him what's the goal, Woods tells Cipher to survive as long as they can and starting with The Bear, as The Bear shows up out of nowhere in front of Woods and Cipher. The Bear then roars at Woods And Cipher while Woods dodges the attack, Cipher tells Woods this is crazy, Woods replies to Cipher that he told him that The Retreat doesn't mess around. The Bear then scratches Cipher but Woods grabs The Bear by the neck while saving Cipher. As Woods holds The Bears neck with his arms, Woods tells Cipher to Zero in and focus, Cipher then asks Woods to focus on what and they'd need a bazooka for this thing, Woods then tells him to use what's at hand and that's part of the training. Cipher then uses a heavy rock to defeat the bear and saves woods, The bear then lies down on the ground and dissolves. Cipher tells Woods that he swears he can feel that one, much to his amazement, and asks him that is he sure this is a simulation. Woods then asks Cipher that does that mean you're giving up, Cipher then replied to Woods that is not a chance. Before the conversation continues, Gunzo suddenly appears and asks that is he sure about that, Woods and Cipher is shocked to see Gunzo, who is sitting on a rock while holding a Ray Gun. Cipher then asks Cipher that Where'd he come from, Gunzo then tells Woods and Cipher to play a game, and remember he can play for keeps. Just Then, Gunzo then tricks Woods and Cipher by firing his Ray Gun at them as they run away while laughing and asks Woods and Cipher What's the matter and they are tired already. Gunzo then uses his holographic projection clones by starting to ambush and attack Cipher and Woods and asks Cipher where does he think he's going, much to Cipher's shock and asks Gunzo how did he use his powers. Gunzo then signals his holographic projection clones by attacking Cipher and Woods and asks the two that Is he going too fast him or are these Phantom Fools too slow while laughing. As Gunzo is standing while he watches his holographic projection clones attacking Woods and he tells Cipher that Gunzo is everywhere at once, Cipher replies that is not quite and thinks that there's a pattern to it and a regular thing. Cipher then grabs Gunzo by the neck as his holographic projection clones disappear by saving Woods and claims that he's got him and asks Gunzo now where does he think he's going and calls him a Clown, Gunzo then replies that he'll be back and tells Cipher to believe him by having the last laugh and suddenly turns into a present with a ribbon, much to Cipher and Woods' confusion. However, The Present opens up with the ribbon cut, Woods is confused about the simulation and never felt so real before and asks Cipher what's going on. Cipher replies to Woods that he's running this circus, or at least he hopes he is. Woods then looks at the card that says, "Congratulations, You passed the first two challenges, only 47 to go", much to Woods' shock and denial, Woods refuses to do 47 challenges and he is done. Suddenly, Woods and Cipher are lured into a trap. Cipher tells Woods that he thought he said he just put his hand to his temple to log off, Woods replies to Cipher that what he does and The Retreat Simulation is not working. Cipher tells Woods that they're trapped, some Retreat and more like a vacation from Hell. The reality changes to a simulation arena, a voice tells Woods and Cipher to have their guns ready. Woods and Cipher are seeing Ray Guns in their hands appearing, much to Woods' shock, Cipher tells Woods that Ray Guns just appeared in their hands. Gunzo reveals to be up and inside the simulation arena while using a megaphone speaking to Woods and Cipher that let's see if their heroes can survive their next challenge, The Official La Sous Terre Arena. Woods and Cipher are surrounded by simulated LST Armies entering the arena, Gunzo then explains that they are now entering The Arena, a small Army of LST's finest, One hundred of 'em, to be exact. Gunzo then asks will Super Assassin Cipher and The Mighty Frank Woods escape certain doom and claims that this is going to be fun. As Woods and Cipher take cover from The LST Bots gunfire, Cipher tells Woods that Gunzo is with The LST and asks him is this an LST attack and did they hack their systems somehow. Woods replies to Cipher that this might all still be a training program, poorly calibrated, but a training program nonetheless. Cipher agrees with Woods and asks that he wants to take one of the bullets and find out, Woods then fires his Ray Gun at One of The Bots and dissolves. Woods tells Cipher about Gunzo that he is an estranged from La Sous Terre and Bulldozer has been our contact in an alliance with The LST. Cipher knows that and Gunzo must not be a fan of Bulldozer assuming Leadership or forming an alliance, if this Gunzo is real. Woods tells Cipher that they must a way to escape this thing and warn the others, Cipher agrees to Woods that this could upend The Alliance for sure. After Woods and Cipher fired their Ray Guns at several Bots by dissolving them, Gunzo uses his megaphone that it's not fair and they are dug in like ticks and prepares to shake things up. Woods and Cipher are standing on two block steps, as the two jump over the block steps while shooting The LST Bots with their Ray Guns and they dissolve, Gunzo reacts that it was a show and it'll be a real shame to kill them as he laughs. Woods asked Cipher if he has any more bright ideas and tells him they're on about Challenge 5 of the 47 Gunzo promised, Cipher then takes cover tells Woods to wait a minute as he finds the Number 47 and all these LST Goons are numbered and asked where is Number 47. Cipher then locates Number 47 among with the LST Bots and tells Woods that he found him in the fortified section and he is not attacking the and the others seem to be protecting him. As Woods and Cipher prepare to take out Operative 47, Cipher asks Woods if he is ready to for an all out assault and tells him they need to take down that Operative 47, Woods agrees with Cipher and what do they got to lose and it's all a simulation and if Cipher is right. As Woods and Cipher advance, Gunzo uses the megaphone and said they are too slow and they need some real action and it's time to truly air their grievances. The Drone Bots appear, Woods shoots the drone bots, causing them to dissolve and tells Cipher it is now or never. Cipher runs and uses his sword to kill Operative 47 and tells Woods that he got him. Woods witnesses The LST Bots disappearing, and tells Cipher that the bots are evaporating. Operative 47 congrats Cipher on a job well done as he dies, much to Cipher's confusion. Gunzo then tells Woods and Cipher that they passed The Challenge Number 47 and hoped they had a good workout. Suddenly, back in the real world, Woods and Cipher completed The Retreat simulation. Cipher alerts Woods to go to The Comms Room and they have to warn The Phantom Corps about LST, Woods thinks and asks Cipher is that so. Cipher asks Woods why is he just standing there and tells him about Gunzo being alive and they've been hacked, Woods scoffs at Cipher and tells him that sounds The Simulation cooked up something real good for him, much to Cipher's confusion. Woods asks Cipher what part of Simulation that he doesn't get, Cipher tells Woods he acted like he weren't there. Woods tells Cipher that he wasn't and he's too old and a senior citizen, But Cipher tells Woods that he saw him put on the VR Headset. Woods asks Cipher about the headset and responds to him that he doesn't need a headset and he must step into the room and maybe he's not quite ready for The Retreat, Like he said It doesn't mess around. Cipher then feels pain and realizes and guesses that The Retreat doesn't mess around.

Distress Signal[]

Elsewhere, In Atlas' Simulation, Sparrowhawk is lying unconscious and hears the echoed words The Last Play in The Playbook three times and wakes up and gets up and witnesses the corpses of Alias, Foxtrot, Cipher, Rampage, David Mason and The Phantom Corps, much to her shock and claimed that everyone is dead. Suddenly, a voice said to Sparrowhawk that not everyone is dead and a figure shows up revealing to be Killgore and he tells Sparrowhawk that he is on her side and Sparrowhawk asking to Killgore what happened here and Killgore tells Sparrowhawk that The Phantom Corps got wiped out and asked her if she doesn't remember and Sparrowhawk responds that she does remember nothing. Sparrowhawk and Killgore help each other and Sparrowhawk tells Killgore that he is with their ally, La Sous Terre and he is Killgore, and Killgore replied to Sparrowhawk that she does remember at least that much and Sparrowhawk asked him what happened and Killgore replied to Sparrowhawk that it was Samael, The Enforcer from The Atlas Corporation and tracked him all the way here, but he was too late to intercept, couldn't stop him, No one could stop him. He killed Rampage and then he kept on going. Killgore explained to Sparrowhawk that Samael has some kind of Adreno Steroid Injection System, Heals from even massive injuries and feels no pain and he is unstoppable and Killgore was not so sure If he was spared or just overlooked, Killgore also tells Sparrowhawk that she'd put up one helluva fight, but he overpowered her, just like all of the rest. Sparrowhawk asked Killgore where is Samael now, before the conversation continues, Samael shows up and said he is right here and tells the two that he thought he killed the two and tells them now he will finish what he started. Just Then, Sparrowhawk and Samael charge at each other and fight against each other and Samael grabs Sparrowhawk by the neck, But Killgore opens fire at Samael and tells him to back off and calls him a monster, causing Samael to retreat and fall back, saving Sparrowhawk. Killgore then checks on Sparrowhawk asked her if she is okay and tells her that he guess that he spooked him, Sparrowhawk replied to Killgore that she is okay and thanks him and Killgore tells Sparrowhawk that they gotta get out of here and he will be back and she can bet on that, Sparrowhawk talks to herself and thinking that Samael could have killed her and why did he hesitate and why was he driven away so easily and what is he really up to. At the corridors, Sparrowhawk and Killgore walk and advance to every room, and Killgore tells her that they have to get to the Comms Room, So they can send a Distress Signal to La Sous Terre, They can send Operatives, Backup, They'd have a chance against this guy, But more than that They've been working on a weapon, a very special weapon. Sparrowhawk then asks Killgore by saying "What kind of Weapon?", Killgore and Sparrowhawk enter the Hospital Bedroom, Killgore tells Sparrowhawk that it is a custom piece of work, something designed to disable Samael's Cyborg components, make him vulnerable and it might be their one chance and he asks her if she is in and Sparrowhawk replied to Killgore that Samael killed and wiped out The Phantom Corps and said of course she is in, much to Killgore's approval. However, Killgore and Sparrowhawk looks at Frank Woods' corpse due to Samael's actions, much to their shock, Sparrowhawk asks Killgore if Samael killed Woods too and asks him why can't she remember and Killgore tells Sparrowhawk that Samael spares no one and he killed Ajax, much to his disapproval, Sparrowhawk tells Killgore about Ajax, and Killgore informs Sparrowhawk that Ajax is a Good Field Operative and a better friend, Samael killed him like it was nothing, and Sparrowhawk then apologizes for his loss. Killgore tells Sparrowhawk that they've both lost people close to us, One more person to look out for each other and the two prepare to enter the comms room. Samael then attacks Ajax in front of Sparrowhawk and Killgore and he tells the two that he will finish what he started, much to their shock and Killgore tells Sparrowhawk that it is Samael. Ajax then calls out to Killgore and Sparrowhawk for help while being attacked by Samael, Killgore tells Sparrowhawk that they gotta help Ajax, Sparrowhawk replied to Killgore if that's Ajax and she thought he said he died, Killgore then rushes to Ajax while saying to Sparrowhawk that he only assumed he was dead and they've still got a chance to save him. Just then, Samael throws Ajax off the balcony by killing him and Killgore calls out to Ajax and that he is coming and tells him to hold on, Samael then turns around and sees the two again and tells them he thought he killed them and Killgore reaches out to Ajax. Sparrowhawk once again fights against Samael by attacking each other and then Samael then pins down Sparrowhawk and Samael tells Sparrowhawk by saying "Now It Ends.", Just then, Killgore once again opens fire at Samael and tells him to get away from her and causing Samael to fall back again, Killgore then once again checks on Sparrowhawk and he tells her that a few seconds, and she would've been a goner, Sparrowhawk replied to Killgore that this already happened and Samael's attack and Killgore's cover fire and it happened just like the first time, and Killgore then scoffs and agrees with Sparrowhawk and he guessed that originally isn't his strong suit and they gotta go to The Comms Room. Sparrowhawk then asks Killgore what happened to Ajax and she doesn't understand and Killgore sadly tells Sparrowhawk that Ajax did not make it and the fall was too much and this isn't about survival anymore and this is about revenge and tells her that The Comms Room is close. At The Comms Room, Killgore and Sparrowhawk are in the comms room, Killgore then prepares to send to The Distress Signal to La Sous Terre and tells Sparowhawk that all he needed her to do is to enter in the Geo Coordinates to this base, and that way, They know where to find them and where to send help. Sparrowhawk is now shocked and speaks to Killgore that Why does he need The Coordinates to the base and he would know that already, and he said he tracked Samael here and realizes that he was lying and he is lying and he would never even hit Samael with his bullets, he was deliberately missed each time, and Sparrowhawk scolding Killgore for lying about Ajax, Killgore then tells Sparrowhawk to enter in the coordinates and they have to survive this and they will get revenge for the Phantom Corps that got wiped out, Sparrowhawk the realizes that all of this is wrong, Killgore then tells Sparrowhawk to stop talking nonsense and The Phantom Corps are dead and their killer is coming for them and he'll be here any second and her hesistation is going to get them killed and urges Sparrowhawk to not be an idiot and this is The Last Play in the Playbook, which Sparrowhawk angrily hears the echoed words again and it kept repeating in her head and was she warning herself and she was replaying the same moment and it's all too familiar and she was trapped and she knew was trapped. However, Sparrowhawk snapped and picks up the assault rifle and angrily tells Killgore that she won't do it, and aims her weapon at Killgore and asked him to tell her what he is doing and what this is and angrily told him that This is all a stage play, to trick her into giving up the coordinates to The Phantom Corps Base and blamed him for not being a friend and calls him a deceiver and tells him that he is on Samael's side. Killgore then grinned tells Sparrowhawk she must have really been hit on the head and mockingly tells her that she could have saved the day and she could have been a hero and realizes the truth to Sparrowhawk that it's too late now, and tells her to look behind you, Suddenly, Samael is right behind Sparrowhawk while she is still aiming her weapon at Killgore, Samael is now scheming by claiming it ends before she attacks her again and Killgore tells Sparrowhawk that she is trapped and its her move. Just then, Sparrowhawk opens fire at Killgore by shooting while Samael charges and tries to attack Sparrowhawk, causing The Atlas Simulation to end.

Elsewhere, Back in the real world, Sparrowhawk wakes up from The Atlas Simulation and removes the wires and asks Where she was, Killgore then wakes up and sees Sparrowhawk being awake, much to his approval. Sparrowhawk is surprised to see Killgore, Killgore then tells Sparrowhawk if she can hurry, they may have enough time and warned Sparrowhawk that Samael will come back son, he already killed Ajax, and he won't hesitate to kill them and also explains to Sparrowhawk that he has got a plan, but they are running out of Plays in The Playbook. Just then, Sparrowhawk tells Killgore that someone has her, they're trying to break her and she says trapped three times.

Opposing Force[]

Elsewhere, At The Tontine's Area Zero Research Facility, The French Alps, France, Two Tontine Sentries are standing outside of Area Zero. Suddenly, The Power goes dark and The Comms are shut down and One of The Tontine Sentries tries to report that The Power went dark and the communications is down but Alias and Sparrowhawk arrive at Area Zero and then the two took down The Two Tontine Sentries by taking them down and Alias and Sparrowhawk ready to enter and infiltrate Area Zero. Alias tells Sparrowhawk that was two at once and she has not lost a step, despite her unannounced vacation, Sparrowhawk then agrees since she escaped of The Atlas' Simulation, She is now welcomed to feel of the real combat. Just Then, Two Tontine Soldiers open fire at Alias and Sparrowhawk, causing Alias to suppress fire on The Two Tontine Soldiers and let Sparrowhawk go inside and Alias asks Sparrowhawk if is this real enough for her, Sparrowhawk then replies to Alias that They are forcing them deeper inside The Tontine Research Facility, but luckliy inside is precisely where the two want to be. Alias then suppresses fire and opens fire on The Two Tontine Soldiers and readying to shut the door and tells Sparrowhawk to get in here and Sparrowhawk acknowledges and orders Alias to shut the door and then Alias then shuts the door via pressing the red button, letting Sparrowhawk in. Inside The Tontine's Area Zero Research Facility, Alias tells Sparrowhawk that they are in but this was not a silent insertion, Sparrowhawk then confirms and they have perhaps ten minutes before a general alarm is raised, Alias then informs Sparrowhawk that they have ten minutes to solve the mystery of Area Zero and prayed to heaven to help them if they fail. Alias then accesses the terminal and speaks to Sparrowhawk on comms that she asked her about that massive energy signature they found on The Phantom Corps satellite imagery and tells her it's close and they're practically on top of it and asks her if it's even more volatile than their original analysis and asked her about the weapon, fuel and the entire army and tells Sparrowhawk whatever it is, The Tontine is hiding something and it's big. Sparrowhawk is looking at the vault doors and informs Alias that she founded something unusual nearby, looks like storage and some of the locks here opened when she tripped the grid, but not one lock, it's polyphase magnetic, someone really doesn't want it open and asks Alias if she think she can crack it remotely and tells her Unit 24B. Alias replies to Sparrowhawk that she can't but she can open every lock, and could cause some chaos, and give them a better chance at an escape route, but Sparrowhawk tells Alias to do it, they are running out of time, Alias then complies and here goes nothing. The Vault Doors open, Alias then asks Sparrowhawk if the vault doors opening worked, Sparrowhawk replied to Alias that it did worked and urges Alias that she better get over here very fast, Alias then asks Sparrowhawk why and what's in the vault. Sparrowhawk then looks at a Vault of Targonite-3 Containers and tells Alias that is T-3 and it's more than she ever saw and it's enough to level a city. Sparrowhawk tells Alias that they were sent here to recover or destroy the source of The Energy Signature, Alias then replied to Sparrowhawk about Scratch off Recover, unless she might have a really, really big backpack, and they can't even destroy this much T-3, and Alias warns Sparrowhawk that the chain reaction would cause the equivalent of a mini nuclear blast. Sparrowhawk replied to Alias that it better happen here, in a remote part of The French Alps, than in a Major City, Alias then after a short pause and asks Sparrowhawk what is she suggesting, Sparrowhawk informs Alias that she is suggesting they will carry out the mission, to the best of their ability, Even if it means they don't get to come back. In The Prison Cells, an alarm goes on, and One of The Tontine Soldiers asks the Other Tontine Soldier that what is he doing and orders him to relook the door and The Other Tontine Soldier tells the Tontine Soldier that he can't and it's not responding. However, Unbeknownst to Alias and Sparrowhawk, their remote unlock didn't just open the T-3 Unit, They unleashed a Caged Beast from the nearby detention area and unleashed Tengu and Suddenly, Tengu wakes up and escapes his cell and attacked The Two Tontine Soldiers and escaped his cell from The Detention Area. Just then, Alias and Sparrowhawk turn around, Alias then asks Sparrowhawk what is that sound and if it's fighting and screaming, Sparrowhawk replies to Alias that the balcony overlooks the lower level. Alias and Sparrowhawk looks at Tengu attacking The Tontine Soldiers while being volatile and aggressive, Alias asks Sparrowhawk who is that and what is that and he is unstoppable and Sparrowhawk asks Alias if it is The Enemy of my Enemy, my friend, or is just another enemy and The Tontine Soldiers try to grab Tengu and Tengu uses his strength to resist and attack The Tontine Soldiers by attacking them and killing them. Tengu then spots Alias and Sparrowhawk and then Sparrowhawk tells Alias that he sees them and intends to attack them and Alias replies by saying Good luck and they are four stories up and Sparrowhawk tells Alias to back up from him and the two dodge and Tengu launches and jumps to the balcony. Tengu then tells Alias and Sparrowhawk that The T-3 is mine and he will claim it and this is their first and last warning, Sparrowhawk then asks him if it's his, and they stole it from him and asks him who is he, Tengu then introduces himself to Alias and Sparrowhawk and he was hunting down remnants of a Zombie Army and it led him to this base and he was captured and The Tontine, they did things to his body, surgeries and infused him with T-3, and Tengu angrily tells Alias and Sparrowhawk The T-3 makes him grow strong and he will need it to grow strong and and threatens that he will grow stronger than The Tontine and he will destroy them and he will destroy all of them. Alias tells Tengu that he is confused and he has been hurt, Sparrowhawk then tells and warns Tengu that The T-3 must be destroyed, not abused and used as fuel for his rage and it's far too dangerous, Alias tells Tengu that she and Sparrowhawk can help him and he just needs to calm down. Tengu angrily tells and warns Alias and Sparrowhawk if the T-3 is destroyed, they die, he dies, an interesting thought, But he refuses and he refuses their offer and he will no longer be told what to do. Tengu then jumps and charges at Alias and Sparrowhawk and starts fighting with the two and The Tontine Soldiers show up from The Balcony, and Alias and Sparrowhawk attacks The Tontine Soldiers and Tengu is grabbed by The Two Tontine Soldiers, Alias tells Sparrowhawk that The Tontine's onto them and The Operation is burned and Sparrowhawk replied to Alias that not until they deal with that T-3, Tengu then resists and attacks The Two Tontine Soldiers by killing them by destroying the balcony. Alias tells Sparrowhawk that Tengu will bury this whole facility and Sparrowhawk replied to Alias that is not a bad idea and Alias asks Sparrowhawk about what is not a bad idea and Sparrowhawk tells Alias about burying The T-3, Much to Alias' chagrin. In The Laboratory Room, Richtofen then watches the footage of Tengu fighting against Alias and Sparrowhawk and Tengu fighting against The Tontine Soldiers while Alias and Sparrowhawk fighting against The Tontine Soldiers, much to Richtofen's shock about Tengu and Richtofen comments about Tengu and becoming a disappointing case study and readies on to the far more promising test subject. The Tontine Lieutenant informs Richtofen that Tengu is causing massive structural instability and they are only two levels away from this, Richtofen replies that he sees that and The Tontine Lieutenant replied that The T-3 may not remain stable, Richtofen then looks at The T-3 Crystal contained and he tells The Tontine Lieutenant that it is high time to integrate the Exogenic Fragment into their subject and he will be his masterpiece, his legacy, to echo through history long after he is gone and also tells The Tontine Lieutenant about Codename: Lazarus. The Tontine Lieutenant informs Richtofen that they have no idea what will happen when they perform The Exogenic Integration and Richtofen replied to The Tontine Lieutenant that such is the aim of science and to delive into The Unknown, The Tontine Lieutenant replied to Richtofen that there are scores of tests left to be performed and they don't even know The Fragment's Chemical Composition. Richtofen then explains to The Tontine Lieutenant that Fear will not rule them and fear must never rule and tells him that Project Thanadra was a failure, But it was instructive, their movement requires a new champion, But Before The Tontine Lieutenant can say anything to Richtofen, He orders The Tontine Lieutenant that their hand is forced and they must rise to meet this moment and orders him to begin the process now. Back at The T-3 Unit Vault, Sparrowhawk grabs Tengu while he growls while Alias watches, Tengu then resists, and then Tengu tells Sparrowhawk and Alias that he will not be enslaved and chained and he is eternal and Alias tells Tengu that they'll see about that and Alias shoots the Electrical Wired Generators and causes the generators to go down and electrocute Tengu while he screams and Alias tells Sparrowhawk to defeat Tengu and Sparrowhawk kicks Tengu and pushes him to the destroyed generators next to the fire, causing Tengu to get electrocuted and Tengu tells Alias and Sparrowhawk that he will not live to see it, but he will have his revenge. Sparrowhawk tells Alias that the fire is out of control and Alias replied to Sparrowhawk that it would detonate The T-3. Back in the Laboratory Room, The Footage goes on fire, The Tontine Lieutenant warns and tells Richtofen that The T-3 will explode from The Flames and they must abort The Lazarus Experiment and about The Full Evacuation. Just Then, Richtofen pulls out his pistol and shoots The Tontine Lieutenant, killing him and his body lies down to the floor. Richtofen then tells The Tontine Lieutenant's corpse about The Preposterous Suggestion and he tells him that he never did have the stomach for this kind of work and explained that Lazarus must be brought to life and addition T-3 Energy will only make him more powerful and his legacy more complete, and Richtofen tells Codename: Lazarus to rise, But a bright light flashes, causes Richtofen to shield his eyes while in pain. Back at The T-3 Unit Vault, Tengu is still unconscious and lying down, The Fire and rubble are almost rising, Suddenly, Alias and Sparrowhawk witnessing a Space Bridge Portal opening, much to Alias and Sparrowhawk's chagrin.
