Phred Whistler is one of the three deuteragonists of the Riddle School franchise. He is a minor character in 1-3, not seen in Riddle School 4, one of the deuteragonists of Riddle School 5 and Riddle Transfer 1, and one of the three tritagonists of Riddle Transfer 2. He is Phil’s lazy but loyal best friend.
In the original Riddle School, he is seen being lazy and not paying attention to what Mrs. Cophey is saying.
In Riddle School 2, he has a bit more of a major role by giving Phil his whistle, then fainting from the Loud noise.
In Riddle School 3, he has a speaking role as well, saying, “I’d give you my whistle, but I lost it at home.”
In Riddle School 5, he needs to be awoken from his dream by being killed, like Smiley, and Zach. He is later a damsel.
In Riddle Transfer, he needs to be saved again.
In Riddle Transfer 2, he helps Phil a little bit before running out of ideas, but helps by defeating Diz.
