Season 1[]
Briarwoods arc[]
Pike and the rest of her friends go to a tavern in Emon. She participates in a drinking game with most of the team and loses. As she consoles Keyleth as she vomits, an orc passes by, bad mouthing them. Grog gets angry, but Pike tries to get him to settle down. Ultimately, a bar fight ensues, which Pike participates in, until the barkeep breaks it up, kicking Pike and the rest of Vox Machina out since they could not pay for damages.
Pike suggests to the team that perhaps they could do something truly altruistic since normal mercenary work was getting them nowhere in life. The team turns down the suggestion. But once Scanlan comes back with a wanted slip, they go to the council of Tal'dorei, who after some convincing, take Vox Machina to the area where a monster has been attacking. They pass through a humble village. Noticing Pike is a holy person, she asks her to bless her home. Pike does so rather awkwardly, claiming she's out of practice before the party moved on.
As they get further, they finally find the beast, revealing to be a blue dragon. Pike, along with the others tries her best against the creature, but nothing she or anyone else did could phase it. Eventually, the dragon shoots his lightning breath at a mountain, causing rocks to fall down on Vox Machina before departing. The party manages to escape with the help of Keyleth's vines. The druid has a small panic attack about the fact that they almost died, but Pike assures Keyleth that she saved them. When Grog reveals a hosing wound he endurred, Pike heals him, which takes a lot of energy, causing her to briefly collapse into Scanlan's arms.
When Vax, Grog, & Scanlan decide they should abandon the mission, Pike tells them they need to complete the mission regardless for the sake of others' well being, but ultimately, the team agrees that this mission is impossible for them to complete. The return to the village to see it had been destroyed by the dragon. When Vax sees a boy he had befriended gravely injured, he beckons Pike for her help. Pike tries to heal the boy but she had no healing energy left, and the boy died in Vax's arms. This tragedy prompted Vox Machina to complete their mission.
The party returns to Emon, informing Uriel that while they did survive the fight, the dragon was still at large. Uriel made the decision to bring the fight to the dragon, dismissing Vox Machina from the palace. Vex'ahlia then reveals she felt the presence of someone working with the dragon in the council, meaning one of them was a mole. She then has Vax and Pike go to Shaun Gilmore's shop so that they can find anything useful that could aid them in killing the dragon. They couldn't afford any wonderous objects that could directly kill the dragon so they settled on advice worth two silver. They depart to find their friends.
Once together, they enter the palace Scanlan and Grog watched Sir Fince enter. Once Vax got the door open and found a hidden cellar on top of that, they looked around. They eventually find Fince stealing documents from Krieg's cellar. Pike announces their belief Fince was trying to assiassnate General Krieg. He tries to explain himself to the party until Krieg murders him. The party gives chase to him, landing themselves in a room filled with magic. Grog suddenly becomes infatuated with a pornographic painting, much to Keyleth's disgust. She throws a book at him, which bounces off his head and reveals a hidden portal.
They go threw it, revealing a huge treasure trove. They become ecstatic as Grog helps fill the party's bag of holding with various valuable items as Pike tells him they could be drunk for weeks with the amount of gold she was swimming in. Vex however comes to her senses and informs the party that this is the dragon's hoard. Krieg shows back up and reveals to have actually been the dragon all along. Another fight ensues and Brimscythe begins to manhandle the party in battle a second time. When they have a moment, the party devises a plan. Scanlan creates an illusion to trick the party. With Brimscythe hoodwinked, the party each play their part in killing the dragon. Pike enchants one of Vex's arrows to lance the dragon's neck before Grog finishes him off. They then run as fast as they can as the place began to collapse. They return to the council, who congratulates and thanks Vox Machina for their victory, giving them a deed and key to their new keep as a reward.
The morning after their first night in the keep, Pike is eating breakfast with her friends. Lady Allura shows up seeking an audience. She informs them that Sovereign Uriel expects them at his banquet. Scanlan asks Pike if she would like to be his date there, promising to be on his "best worst behavior". Pike politely declines. They eventually make it to the banquet the following night. Begrudgingly leaving their weapons at the main booth. Pike and the others disperse as they get inside. She and Grog take a few champagne glasses, personally sipping down three of them
After that, Pike and the others reconnect just in time to see Percy in a state of anger and paranoia, explaining that the Briarwoods, who just showed up to the banquet took everything from him when he was a teenager. Upon learning they would be staying over night, Vax offers to sneak into their room. The party, excluding Vax then attend Uriel's table. Pike notices Percy grimace as he sees the Briarwoods, trying to get Percy's attention as he does nothing but sit and glare at the Briarwoods.
After Percy has an outburst from a lie about the de Rolos spewed by Delilah, the party takes him away to talk in private. Percy tells them the Briarwoods killed his entire family and conquered Whitestone, surprising the party. After learning who the Briarwoods really were, the party decides to leave and save Vax, as he was in the room they would be staying in.
After Vex sensed Vax was in imminent danger, Grog throws the guy who made them leave their weapons out of his booth under Pike's permission. They collected their weapons and ran out of the building to save Vax, who was just about to be killed by Sylas. Pike heals Vax before he can succumb to his injuries. As Grog struggles to strike down Sylas, Pike enchants his axe to give him an advantage. Noticing this, Delilah attacks Pike with her magic, cracking her holy symbol, putting the cleric in a state of helplessness. Delilah later calls for their carriage driver. The couple then take off. As Percy gets ready to shoot the driver for his working for the Briarwoods, the party is stopped and seized by Uriel's guards.
Pike and the others are taken before Uriel who reprimands them for attacking the Briarwoods and thus, ruining the banquet. Lady Allura calms him down, promising to handle the party accordingly, by putting them under house arrest. Pike thanks Allura for taking a gentle approach at the punishment. Grog and the others are then confined to their keep and their weapons are taken away by Captain Jarett's men. When they're locked up together, Percy finds a secret opening in the room that leads to a hallway, which leads to a way out, but Jarett catches them and has them separated. Pike is locked up in her shrine with Grog.
Pike attempts to meditate to reconnect with her goddess, but to no avail. Grog checks in on Pike to see if she's okay. Pike claims she was trying to meditate. Grog then picks up Pike's holy symbol. Understanding Pike speaks to the Everlight through it, he tries to speak through it himself, hoping for a reply. Pike soon breaks into tears, telling him ever since the symbol was cracked, it feels like the Everlight doesn't listen to her anymore. Grog suggests simply apologizing to her in that.
They hear a commotion outside and decide to investigate. The door was locked however, and Grog was reluctant to break Pike's shrine until she gave him her permission to do so, as it sounded serious. The party reconnects and they realize that Delilah had sent wraiths their way. Understanding they were under attack, Jarett gives them weapons to fend off the wraiths. The party tries to fight the undead spirits but their weapons prove ineffective in darkness. They beckon Pike for help, but she is unable to due to her religious conflict.
Keyleth manages to conjure light though, rendering the wraiths vulnerable. The party could finally hit and destroy them. Once they did, this convinced Jarett to let them go and stop whoever it was who sent them.
The party begins to leave in the morning but Pike remains behind as she needs to reconnect with the Everlight. Grog offered to stand by her side the whole time, but Pike insisted this was a journey she had to do on her own. Grog tearfully hugs her goodbye before reluctantly leaving. She then turns to Keyleth, labeling her the new light of the party. She watches them leave before going to a holy temple where a holy woman answers the door. Pike tells her after her holy symbol got cracked, it seemed like the Everlight had forsaken her and tearfully asked for her help. The holy woman took pity on Pike and willingly took her in. Pike tried to spiritually reach within herself to contact the Everlight, but it was in vain. She expressed concern that Delilah's curse was too strong. The holy woman however assured her no outside force could sever her connection and that it had to do with Pike herself, which unsettled the cleric.
Pike made one final attempt to reconnect with the Everlight, this time actually succeeding in contacting her. Pike tries to rationalize why her relationship with the goddess is rocky and admits that she enjoys taking part in sin with her friends but understands it is wrong. The Everlight asked why she thought that and Pike realized she had severed her connection with the Everlight herself by choosing to be unholy. Now that she was being true with herself, the Everlight assured Pike any path could be holy so long as she walked it with truth.
Pike then sends herself to Whitestone via astral projection, saving her friends from some zombies in the process. She greets everyone before blessing the weapons of the townsfolk to give them an advantage in the fight. When the zombie hoard finally lets up, Vox Machina, along with Cassandra hunt down the Briarwoods. They go through an underground dungeon on the way. A prisoner calls out to them asking to be freed in exchange for helping them find the Briarwoods, but Percy only turns his pepperbox on the prisoner. He tries to kill her before Cassandra stops him. Percy reveals to the party that the prisoner is Dr. Anna Ripley, a former Briarwood pawn.
After Scanlan pulls Percy over to discuss his escalating violence, Pike divines what is driving his actions. She becomes frightened to find out there is some unnatural internal force behind Percy's excessive wrath. She beckons to take him to a temple but Percy refuses, putting their hunt for the Briarwoods as their top priority. After Percy takes Ripley prisoner, Ripley leads the party to the Ziggurat. On the way, Grog continues trying to figure out how Pike's astral form truly works while also checking in on her regarding her spiritual crisis. Eventually, they make it to the crypt of the dungeon, where they realize it was holding corpses that were animated by Delilah's magic. Pike felt guilty for slaying Percy's already dead family members. When the fight is over, Ripley leads the party to a room, which is revealed to be a residuem manufacturing room. Suddenly, Cassandra traps the party (Save Vax who managed to escape) in the room, with the Briarwoods revealing themselves to have brainwashed Cassandra. Sylas then possess Vax to set off an acid trap to kill the party.
When the acid level rises, Scanlan lifts everybody up with his magic hand. After Percy points to a mechanism that controls the flow, Pike leapt for the mechanism, removing the seal, and revealing two levers. When Percy mentions there is a third lever to be pulled at the same time as the two they saw, Grog dives into the acid to reach the third lever. As he does so, Pike heals him through the acid. Once all the levers are pulled and the acid is drained, Pike heals Grog fully and the party set off for the ziggurat.

In her astral projection, she glows gold.
Personality[]
Pike is a pious follower of the Everlight.
She's overall, a kind, friendly, and compassionate gnome to most people and willing to pray for the well-being of strangers as a holy person would, but she has a personal conflict with herself when she understands how she like to live her life contradicts what it means to be holy, and genuinely wants to make right by her god.
She has a violent side to her as well, as she is as willing to kill enemies as her friends are. Though she's not reckless like Grog. Like the rest of her party, she swears a lot, but it's usually out of anger or duress rather than simply sounding vulgar.
