Eh-ow Eh-ow, commonly known as Pin, is one of the main characters in the KikoRiki franchise and the overarching protagonist of the KikoRiki: PinCode series. He is an anthropomorphic German-accented penguin who resides on KikoRiki Island. He is an inventor, spending a lot of time in his workshop creating new devices, and his friends often ask him for help with issues regarding technology.
In Russian, he is voiced by Mikhail Chernyak. In English, he was voiced by Bryan Fenkart, Brian Drummond, Tyler Bunch, William Hackett-Jones and Mike Pollock in various dubs.

Past[]
Pin was born in Antarctica. He spent his early life in a village whose inhabitants constantly distracted him from work by throwing banquents and inviting him to them, until one day he chose to leave his village. He eventually ended up in Megapolis, where he took up the job of a night guard at a museum and spent his free time making inventions.
Team Invincible[]
One night, Pin found a kid named Chiko near the museum. He tried to drive him away at first, but after learning that Chiko's home was far away, decided to let him stay in his room for the night.
To help Chiko find his friends, Pin organized a golden dishes exhibition at the museum, but Chiko's friends didn't visit it. That night, two robbers broke into the museum and Chiko, believing them to be taking the exhibits to get them fixed, helped them bypass the security system. As a result, he and Pin were mistaken for the robbers' accomplices, arrested and jailed. Eventually, Chiko's friends and Barry broke the hedgehog out of prison, but he refused to leave if Pin would remain imprisoned. Thus the penguin was broken out as well and escaped the city with the gang on a runaway airship, after which he settled on the KikoRiki Island with them.
Personality[]
Pin is a hard-working person who enjoys creating something new every time and usually doesn't slack off. He often takes any problems he or his inventions have very seriously, and may fly into a fit of rage or fall into depression because of them. Nevertheless, he is mostly kind towards his friends and is always ready to help them out. He also cares deeply about his robot son Bibi, treating him very differently from the discipline he expects from others, hardly ever grounds him, and grows depressed if he's not around or doesn't contact him for too long. Pin is also far from a coward, as at one point he attempted to personally take on an asteroid on a collision course with Earth, not even expecting to return alive from his mission.
In the Russian version of the series, Pin has a somewhat chauvinistic attitude towards his female friends, most notably Rosa, believing that activities traditionally seen as meant for men don't fit them, but is constantly proven wrong. This is hardly present, if at all, in the English dub.
Trivia[]
- For a long time, "Pin" was thought to be the character's real name, until the episode "Tradition" revealed it to be a nickname common for penguins, with his real name being a penguin's cry. Additionally, the episode "Pinland" shows that penguins in Pin's home village called each other that name as well.
- Pin is Catholic, as he's shown crossing himself appropriately and praying in Latin in several episodes.
