Pinocchio, also known August Wayne Booth, is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time.
He is portrayed by Eion Bailey as an adult and by Jakob & Jack Davies as a child.

He returns all well and gave information to the group about the Apprentice and that it was he who gave Isaac the powers. He was among the group observing the Apprentice being freed from the Sorcerer's hat, which Rumple & Hook trapped him in, by Mother Superior at long last.
After Third Curse[]
There was a wish realm version of him as an adult, and for the first time seen wearing Enchanted Forest attire during where Emma is trapped in the wish realm, created by a wish from the Serum Queen.
While Charming was searching for clues for the truth about his father and who actually murdered him, he learned that last place he was spotted was Pleasure Island. David believes August would know (Presumingly because of his first curse memories as David Nolan for reading Pinocchio or watching pleasure Island in Disney's Pinocchio). And he was right. When David showed him the coin, which his father gave to him for a good luck charm, August recognized it and told what Robert has really been doing. Charming realized that Robert went after James and was trying to fix his family. August offered to find some pictures from the storybook book that involves his misadventures, which he was ashamed of, to give him more clues.
Later that night, he approaches Hook and told that he has the pages that David needs. But when Hook said he will turn them to David, he immediately recognized Charming's father in one of the pages. For it was revealed that it was he who murdered David's father all along. He then broke his promise by hiding the truth about David's father, leaving him with a false story of King George murdering Robert.

- August turning back into wood shows fairy magic comes with unfair stipulations in order to keep the spell cast. He had to be selfless, brave and true; something that's practically impossible to maintain all the time as everyone gives in to laziness and overindulgence at some point.
- He was later freed of this when Rumple changed him back from Pinnochio (long story), due to Dark One magic being originally from the Holy Grail.
- The reason Rumple could change Pinocchio back into August with all his memories was due to Dark One magic coming from the Holy Grail.
