Pisces are minor characters in the anime/manga series Fairy Tail. They are one of the twelve Zodiac Celestial Spirits and who are currently owned by Yukino Agria.

The mother is voiced by Kanami Satō and the son is voiced by Shōhei Kajikawa in the Japanese version. In the English dub, the mother is voiced by Stephanie Young and the son is voiced by Justin Pate.

Synopsis

Pisces was first summoned by Yukino while she competed in the Grand Magic Games Pisces during a battle against Kagura Mikazuchi only for the spirit to be easily defeated alongside Libra by the latter.

Yukino summons Pisces once again under the castle Mercurius in the Abyss Palace, as the former re-located their key after it was stolen. Pisces appears in their true form, the shape of two humans - a mother and son, in order to fight the much more powerful opponents present as opposed to the Grand magic games. Both the mother and son charged at Uosuke, only for the Garou Knight to cast a Terrain Effect: Gravity Zone in an attempt to stop the duo. But Yukino's swift summoning of Libra negated the spell before it could take effect, allowing Pisces to deliver a swift blow to Uosuke, flinging Uosuke backwards. Enraged, Uosuke casts Terrain Effect: Whirlpool Zone, engulfing Pisces in a swirling torrent of water and causing the two to revert to their fish form, rendering them helpless to fight for the rest of the battle.

Later that night, Pisces is summoned yet again alongside the other Twelve Ecliptic Zodiac by both Yukino and Lucy working together. Pisces, along with their fellow Zodiac, all agree to seal off the Eclipse Gate, thus stopping a flight of Dragons from invading and destroying Crocus, pushing against the Eclipse Gate until it was completely closed.

Trivia

• Pisces' human forms and personalities is a reference to the Pisces constellation, which originally represented the Greek goddess Aphrodite and her son Eros, who evaded Typhon's rampage by turning into carps.
