Biography[]

Pre-Prologue[]

The game begins with the player inside their house watching the news about the Roblox Convention that is happening. After hearing about it, they exit the house, they explore the local town of Bizville, a town full of buildings, NPCs, shops, and more, where they soon talk to one of their nearby friends about the event being located at the Roblox HQ nearby. On their way to the HQ, they meet up with a few blue penguins, two of them being named Harry and Mary who talk to the player about their grandfather and great uncle. After arriving at the Roblox HQ, they take their seat next to Harry, Mary, and their grandfather, as David Baszucki begins his presentation. He then suddenly ambushed by a mysterious figure, while his henchmen tie him up and subdue his bodyguard, JParty. Harry and Mary wake up their grandfather, and he immediately recognizes the figure alongside the player. The grandfather penguin, named Tutorial Terry, commands the player to defeat the figure's henchmen despite them being confused at what is going on. Nonetheless, they grab a dodgeball and head up on stage to battle the minions. After defeating both minions, the figure now reveals a time machine as they plan to endanger everyone with it, but Terry instructs the player to aim for the device. Upon hitting the time machine with their dodgeball, it malfunctions as the player, alongside the mysterious figure and David Baszucki are all sucked into the machine and sent back to the year 2010.

Prologue: Hello World![]

The player unknowingly awakening in a hotel room of a younger Terry, who then askes them if they had a good sleep or not. If the player threaten to kill him, the player are automatically put into a battle which Terry would win regardless if they attacked or not. If the player answers with "yes" or "no", Terry scolds the player for sleeping in his bed before the player mentions the events of the pre-prologue. Tutorial Terry gets confused about the players questions and tells them to get to the front desk of the hotel as one of the hotel workers are looking for them. Tutorial Terry is still skeptical about the player and keeps an eye on them. Upon entering the main room of the hotel, the player has the choice to talk to the hotel receptionist "Receptionist Ralph", who was expecting the player and tells the player about a message from John Shedletsky and that he wants to meet with them in Roblox HQ.

Upon exiting Bizville Hotel, the player then walks east to the office. The player will find Roblox HQ with a path blocked off with boards of wood. One of the NPCs next to the blocked off path states that the player will need a sword to access the bridge. If the player enters the Roblox HQ, the player will have to climb to the top and go through multiple enemies, learning how to use their dodgeball in combat along the way. When the player gets to the top and goes to the right side of the HQ, they find Shedletsky on the balcony being picked on by two noobs named Red Noob and Blue Noob. Noticing the player, Red and Blue engages combat with them (During the fight, if one of the noobs are downed during the battle, the other one will have an attack buff.) but are defeated and retreat from the headquarters. Shedletsky regains consciousness afterwards and gives the player a wooden sword to break down wooden boards, allowing them to access the meadows.

Terry meets up with the player to teach them how to use cards in the game after giving them an upgraded move of the sword before leaving to go back to his hotel room. After some traversing through the meadows, the player is suddenly met with Noobador, the uncle and boss of Red and Blue from earlier, who battles the player for hurting his niblings. The three are defeated and Red and Blue retreat once more while Noobador is collapsed on the ground exhausted.

Chapter 1: Storming the Castle[]

Entering a nearby mountain cavern, the player begins their ascendance to Roadtown on the peak and fight their way through multiple enemies. They also find Terry again who is struggling to retrieve a card across a gap, and teaches how to use the ball, which can retrieve items from faraway. Terry gives the player the card after realizing he has duplicates of those same exact ones. At the end of the cavern, the player encounters the Supreme Ant who is fought alongside her ant army minions. The player defeats her and arrives in Roadtown where citizens of the area tell the player that a recent snow disaster happened supposedly due to the Blackrock Kingdom. They meet with their mayor, Monty who gives them an adventurer's ID to explore the mountainside, and also mentions that one of their citizens, Accountant Jim has been missing for a few days.

The player explores the mountain's wilderness and battles through many more enemies, including the Banished Knight who battles the player over his desire to regain the trust of the Blackrock King, and the Spiky Killbot, which is defeated by the player using a bomb in their inventory. The player eventually discovers Accountant Jim trapped underneath a pile of red brick as he begs for help and they retrieve his dynamite as a new move. Terry shows up again and lectures the player on how they can use it, before the player is given the option to either free Jim from the pile of bricks or jilt him as they only take the dynamite, which soon leads to his death after the chapter is completed. The player uses the dynamite to blast away the red bricks obstructing the path to Blackrock and soon infiltrate the castle.

Inside, they continue to battle their way through many Loyal Knights and Crossbow Cronies, and solve many puzzles to escape the dungeon. They are confronted by the Sentient Statue at the end before they can make it to the surface and reach the primary entrance of the castle. The player breaks through one of the windows after realizing the doors are locked and many Loyal Knights set up a barricade to prevent the player from passing. The player bypasses them by cutting down a chandelier in the attic to crush the many knights before retrieving a key to unlock access to the kitchen where they find many starving knights inside. They walk into the kitchen where they find the Kitchen Wizard struggling to cook the food and mistake the player for the assistant mage, as he requests a rose-colored bottle. The player chooses to give him a random bottle and this results in the kitchen soon becoming a mess with a pile of kitchen furniture and equipment stacked up on each other. The player climbs the pile to obtain the shrink card and are met by Terry again, who reveal that he wanted to get revenge on the Kitchen Wizard for being a punk, by purposefully sabotaging his recipe, blowing him up with his Penguin Missile, and looting him of his hat. After being taught by Terry on how to use interactive cards, the player uses the shrink card to fit through a small hole in the treasure room and retrieves another key to the throne room.

Unlocking the doors and entering the throne room, the player comes face to face with the Blackrock Kingdom's monarch, the Cruel King, who reveals that a voice manipulated him to steal the Ice Dagger, one of the seven swords from Sword Fight on the Heights, and protect his kingdom from an oncoming onslaught. Believing the player to be a thorn in his back and for dismantling his guards, the Cruel King battles them to prevent Blackrock from being doomed. The Cruel King is defeated and he soon is reduced to his skeletal remains as the player retrieves the Ice Dagger from him.

The player learning how to use the Ice Dagger with Shedledsky's guidance.

After the Cruel King's demise, Terry teleports in and teaches the player how to take the easy route back to Bizville, by simply teleporting with their map for fast travel. Teleporting to the Roblox HQ basement, the player finds Shedletsky in a full body cast and wheelchair slowly recovering. He then gives them a tutorial on how to use the Sword Fight on the Heights swords they will receive after completing each chapter.

Additionally after unlocking the Airport at the start of Chapter 2, the player can walk to the far left to access the Guru, who will allow the player to refight end bosses of each chapter, including the Cruel King. The player entering their dreamscape encounters the Cruel King again, who is mad at the player for his initial defeat and will attempt to battle them again. However, after every subsequent rematch, he starts to warm up to them and realize how selfish his actions were in the past, soon reforming thanks to the player and gives them a card to call him in all of their future battles.

Chapter 2: A Toxic Time[]

Completing the tutorial on how to use the Sword Fight on the Heights swords, Shedletsky in his current status cannot go out and retrieve the other six swords, and askes the player to do it for him, pointing out their heroism of how they freed the citizens of Roadtown and their responsibility of their power using the Ice Dagger already. The next sword Shedlesky wants the player to retrieve is the Venomshank, located in Turitopulis near the Rugged Rainforest and protected by Mayor Thaniyel. The player goes to the west of Bizville and arrives at the airport, where coincidentally they encounter Terry again. Although upset at first, Terry realizes that Shedletsky sent them there and offers to fly them to Plainstown, being a professional pilot in the past.

After arriving at Plainstown, the player meets up with another adventurer at the airport there named Kyoko. She explains that she also plans to go to Turitopulis and wishes the player good luck on their travel. The player fight their way to Turitopulis, which additionally includes them shrinking to going down an fire ant hill and exiting out of it later to arrive at the village. Once there with Kyoko, they find Mayor Thaniyel being shaken by a gorilla and attempts to free him, only for another person with a crowbar and a Red Grind cap to halt them from intervening. The person, titled the Griefer warns the player to back off as he plans to take Mayor Thaniyel to obtain the Venomshank for himself, leaving alongside his hostage. The player finds the keys to a nearby Jeep and drive it through the Rugged Rainforest to pursue after the Griefer. Eventually catching up to him, the Griefer notices their presences and summons a wall of red bricks to cease anymore cases of pursuit. The player uses the dynamite to blast the red bricks alongside a smaller rock which opens a hole containing a Komodo Dragon. The Komodo Dragon fights the player but is defeated, soon revealing that she can talk and realizes that the player only blasted away the bricks to free up their path. As thanks for saving her children, the Komodo Dragon gives the player a pair of rocket boots.

After exiting the Komodo Dragon's den, the player finds Terry alongside his brother Jerry chatting to each other. Both notice them with Jerry informing how to use rocket boots to cross large gaps and set enemies on fire in battles. With this newfound knowledge, the player is able to cross the gaps in the jungle and continue their pursuit and eventually confront the Griefer who is interrogating Mayor Thaniyel about the location of the Venomshank. While the gorilla takes off with Mayor Thaniyel, the Griefer notices the players and engages a battle with them. After his defeat, the Griefer flees behind the same path the gorilla went guarded by the dense vegetation, which the player cannot chop down with their sword. The player continues on the only open path in the fork and adventure through the wilderness to find an iron sword, which is then stolen by Bigfoot who then taunts the player and runs away from them. The player chases after him to a giant mango tree and knock him down from there. Bigfoot soon realizes the player as the one who ran him over while they were driving the jeep and initiates a battle with them. The player is able to defeat Bigfoot and reclaim the iron sword which they can now use to chop down the dense vegetation.

With the iron sword in hand, the player arrives at the Griefer's hideout which they scale upwards while battling many enemies along the way. They arrive in the Griefer's room on the top to find him ordering Mayor Thaniyel to pull out the Venomshank, before forcefully doing it himself. After celebrating, the Griefer is then order by the voice to kill the player who had arrived at his lair, engaging another battle with them. After his second defeat, the Griefer realized that the voiced lied to him and decide if he going out, he is going to take the player down with him. He discards his crowbar and stabs the Venomshank in his foot to transform into the Bubonic Plant, engaging the final fight against the player. With the Bubonic Plant's defeat soon after, Mayor Thaniyel thanks the player as he takes the Griefer back to Turitopulis to hopefully recover him back to normal, while leaving the Venomshank for the player to obtain.

In an additional quest, after unlocking the access to the Haunted Kitchen in the Manor and obtaining the Bottled Ship, the player can head back to Turitopulis to find Mayor Thaniyel still checking on the Griefer in his Bubonic Plant state. Mayor Thaniyel reports to the player about the Griefer current status before the player askes if there is a cure for his transformation. Mayor Thaniyel confirms that there is and how he tells how he knows Mayor Monty as they once used the cure called the Special to reverse some of the Venomshank's victims in the past but can't exactly recall the recipe they used for that. He also notes about the collapse of the Blackrock Kingdom and their Kitchen Wizard who is a friend of his who may still remember the recipe for the Special. After talking, Mayor Thaniyel lets the player go to find the items required to create the cure.

The player uses the Bottled Ship to sail across the river of the Rugged Rainforest to find a cookbook and then go to the Manor to give it the Kitchen Chef. The player then obtains the necessary ingredients for the Special, which is an onion ring and compost from an apple core. By combining these two ingredients, the player is able to cook the Special. They head back to Turitopulis and give the Special to Mayor Thaniyel, who then feeds it to the Griefer, undoing his Bubonic Plant transformation. Although angered at first when noticing the player, Mayor Thaniyel tells the Griefer to thank them for saving his life and he obliges as he askes them if his new appearance make him look cooler. The player agrees to his appearance and the Griefer is pleased with this before Mayor Thaniyel leaves to prepare a festival for the Griefer.

The Griefer apologizes for his selfish behavior as he admits that he felt brainwashed when stealing the Venomshank and goes on to explain his backstory. When the Griefer offers to make it up to the player by inviting them to his room to play video games and drink soda, the player instead askes if he wants to join them on their adventure. The Griefer agrees to join them and gives them a card to call him for their battles.

Chapter 3: All Hallow's Eve[]

Back at the Roblox HQ Basement, the player finds Shedletsky, who is in much better condition than how he was back at the start of Chapter 2. After hearing that the voices have manipulated more people into stealing the Sword Fight on the Heights swords, he informs that the player should go to Telamon's Manor next to retrieve the Ghostwalker, and gives them a train ticket for them to travel west to Spooksville.

Once at the station, the player shows the conductor their ticket and board the train where they go to their room to sleep. They are awoken after the conductor rushes to their room to tell them that there is an ambush happening, only for two bandits to show up to the room and battle the player. After dealing with the bandits, the conductor tells the player to protect the train's engineer from them all the way in the cab on the far left. Traversing and battling their way through the train, the player arrives to find Noobador from the prologue conducting the train while Red and Blue have already taken care of a bandit. After noticing the player and another bandit peeping his head through, the duo request the player to assist them in battle. The three are able to fend off the bandits, not long before another, more larger duo of noobs attack Noobador and knock him out cold. The duo in question are Red and Blue's abusive parents, Green Noob and Purple Noob who wants to battle the two for rebelling against them all those years back, alongside the player who they believe is a witness to Red and Blue. Green and Purple are defeated and Noobador wakes up to take out the two, before commanding Red and Blue to conduct the train for him. Noobador apologizes to the player for not realizing the whole ordeal with Shedletsky in the first place, only believing that the player was simply giving Red and Blue a tough time back in the prologue, and reveals that the two have good intentions at heart and that Green and Purple were trying to endorse them in criminality. He then tells the player to get some rest before stopping at Spooksville.

At Spooksville, the conductor praises the player for their heroism against Green, Purple, and their league of bandits, while later Red and Blue also thank the player for dealing with their parents, giving them a card to call them in their battles as a gift before hopping back on the train per Noobador's request. After traveling through the cemetery and battling the zombies there, the player arrives at the Manor where they are greeted by the butler inside, who gives them a tour around the place. When the tour ends, the player askes if the manor is haunted, which the butler replies as just being an old folklore tale, before he leaves, informing the player not to follow him. During that time, they also meet some familiar faces, mainly Kyoko who sympathizes and comforts them with their quest, and the Banished Knight, who reveals his intention to now gift the player his knowledge and sell them cards. The player afterwards disregard the Butler's request and follow him out back to find him enter a portal before they enter it too, finding themselves in a haunted version of the Manor that the butler simply regarded as a folklore.

Now in this haunted version of the Manor, the player travels to the kitchen to find the Kitchen Wizard, now the Ghost Chef from Chapter 1. He is dismayed when he encounters them again, but calms down when the player requests how to get to the Ghostwalker. In order to obtain the Ghostwalker, the Ghost Chef requests the player to fetch various ingredients scattered across the manor so that he can cook dinner for the haunted manor's inhabitants. During their search, the player so happens to find Terry and Jerry in one of the bedrooms of the manor, the former revealing that he was kicked out of Bizville Hotel and decided to look after his brother. After the player mentions their quest of finding the Ghostwalker, Terry and Jerry agree to join them. The Ghost Chef tells the player to finish his feast, they must retrieve his turkey from the basement of the manor, though a scuffle with the alive turkey initiates a fight against it. After defeating it, the turkey explodes and the player retrieves its corpse for the Ghost Chef. With that, the Ghost Chef completes all the dishes for the dinner and gives the player the Ghost Potion which he had been possessing for a while. Ghost Chef explains that the Ghost Potion allows the player to bypass walls and harmful obstacles, while in battle grants them invisibility to dodge attacks. Now with the Ghost Potion in hand, the Ghost Chef warns the player that the Ghostwalker is lethal, as one touch from anyone deemed unworthy by the blade will instantly die and only those with a pure soul can wield it. So he instead requests that he should wrap it up and give it to the player.

In the basement, the player finds Terry again, who reads the label of the Ghost Potion and determines that the player is able to slip past the gate above a conveyor belt next to them to advance further into the catacombs. After the player completes a puzzle and moves into the next room, they find a hyperball in the middle of the room and attempt to grab it, only for them to be ambushed by the Slasher, who drops down from the ceiling, engaging a battle with them. When the Slasher is defeated, the player safely obtains the hyperball and moves onto the next rooms before arriving at the end with Terry. Terry them informs the player that the hyperball they retrieved earlier can also be used to ground pound floorboards, including those blocking off the path to the Ghostwalker. Inside the room, the player, Terry, and Jerry gaze at the Ghostwalker before the latter two go back to the kitchen to bring down the Ghost Chef with them. However, Terry warns the player not to touch the Ghostwalker during this period they are gone. The player ignores his heeds and touches it anyways, causing them to suddenly collapse on the floor.

The player suddenly awakens in a Dream World where they find Builderman, who has claimed to have been stuck in the world for so long and offers to assist the player in purifying their soul to escape back to reality. In the Dream World, Builderman convinces the player to defeat their flawed emotions every step of the way. The player defeats Greed in Avarice, Solitude in Isolation, and Fear in Terror, not before the latter two warn the player that Builderman is deceitful and should not be trusted. The emotions turn out to be correct as after Fear is defeated, it turns out that the player encountered the fourth and final emotion, Hatred, who was using them to access their heart while disguised as Builderman. The player traverse through a twisted version of the Dream World and enter Wrath to confront Hatred before it can take over their heart. After an intense battle with Hatred, the player is able to neutralize and defeat it, escaping back to the real world.

The Ghost Chef, Terry, and Jerry are seen attempting to wake the player up before they awaken by themselves, before a flabbergasted Terry leaves to Roblox HQ alongside Jerry. Although surprised too at first that the player has awakened from their slumber, the Ghost Chef prepares to withdraw the Ghostwalker from the stone before the player obtains it without any signs of harmful effects. Stupefied that they managed to purify their soul, the Ghost Chef prepares to go back to the kitchen, not before giving the player a bowl of Shark Fin Soup (if their inventory isn't full) and commenting of how he didn't think as much of them at first, but now believe them to be a strong-willed, gutsy, and brave hero. After offering them to come back to the Manor anytime for him to cook for them, the Ghost Chef wishes the player good luck in their quest to obtain the rest of the Sword Fight on the Heights swords.

Chapter 4: Excavation Exploration[]

The player travels back to Roblox HQ and find Shedletsky almost back to normal, with him praising them for being efficient in a short period of time. After talking to the remaining sword guardians, Shedletsky has the fourth quest he wants the player go on, that is to uncover the Firebrand as it lack a guardian and it being deeply hidden in the Temple of the Red Sun located in the Scorched Dunes. Shedletsky claims that after the player obtains the Firebrand, he will check in with the remaining guardians before sending the player on their way to the Bizville Docks.

At the docks, the player encounter Kyoko again and explains they are on another of Shedletsky's quests to travel to the Scorched Dunes. Kyoko explains that her sister once also traveled to the desert but wasn't heard back from every since. The player promises to her that they will stay safe during their journey in the desert. After talking to Fisherman Fred to hitch a ride to the Scorched Dunes, the player's journey for the Firebrand begins. In the Scorched Dunes, the player roams around the desert, solves puzzles to access new paths, and battles their way through new enemies. They soon discover the Ancient Tomb in the middle and enter it to travel through the traps and fight more enemies inside.

After outrunning a boulder, the player enters a narrow room to find a bottled ship at the end. Suddenly, the bottle shakes out of their grasp and out pops a genie named The Great Floccinaucinihilipilification, shorted to The Great Flocci. As a reward for freeing him from his bottle, The Great Flocci offers to grant the player two wishes, and the player gets to choose from six different option of what they desire most. However, none of the options work for them (besides the SFOTH Swords which leads to a close up of The Great Flocci's face) and The Great Flocci offers to redo their first wish. The player instead wishes for The Great Flocci's bottled ship which he brushes off as a joke. However, the more the player insists on having his bottled ship irritate The Great Flocci that he engages a battle against them. The Great Flocci is defeated and he reluctantly gives up his bottled ship to the player and scoffs at them for making him lose his home. When the player requests their second wish, The Great Flocci refuses to give it to them, breaks away the walls to reveal a much larger puzzle room, and flies away.

The player solves the puzzle in the room and enter the next room featuring a long body of water. Suddenly, Terry and Jerry drift across from another room while relaxing, as they are on their vacation. Unfortunately for Terry, when he turns around to encounter the player, he becomes dismayed as he starts to become fed up with them constantly crossing paths. The player then askes Terry what the bottled ship they recently obtained does, surprising the two before they mentioned their encounter with The Great Flocci. As a mention from Jerry, Terry recommends to the player to try and go to the nearby wooden dock and spawn the ship to sail across the water. After Jerry is carried off by the water currents, Terry leaves the player to test out their new bottled ship. With the bottled ship, the player sails out of the Ancient Tomb and ends up in an oasis.

They soon notice two pirates talking to each other nearby and walk near them to listen on their conversation. The pirates mention about plundering the Temple of the Red Sun for its vast riches with their captain. When a third pirate check in on the two, all three suddenly notice the player nearby and fight them. They are defeated and the player walks to the right to stumble upon a Pirate Camp with more crew members there. The pirates there confront the player and attempt to extort them of 1000 TIX for trespassing on their property. They start to get closer after the player claims they don't have enough, before all are stopped by their captain and his first mate.

The captain scares his crew members off and introduces himself to the player. The leader calls himself Captain Trotter while introducing his first mate, Calypso, Kyoko's sister. According to Captain Trotter, he is also set on uncovering the Temple of the Red Sun for its treasure before the player askes him where the Firebrand is. When Captain Trotter questions why the player needs the Firebrand, they answer that they need it for Shedletsky's quest. Captain Trotter reveals that the Firebrand is also located inside the temple and that the player can join his crew for the time being. Now allied with the pirates, the player makes their way to Vermillion Village nearby and after stocking up on supplies, goes to solve a series of puzzles to uncover the temple. On the last puzzle they solve, the player angers a group of nearby pirates who claim that they have been attempting to solve the puzzle for weeks before battling them out of jealousy. The player successfully defend themselves from the pirates and Calypso comes in to berate the crew members for picking a fight with each other before all leave to go discover the now open temple.

The player meets up with Captain Trotter and the rest of the pirate crew at the exterior of the temple and all enter it. When the player carelessly trips over a trapwire, Calypso saves them from being impaled from a row of spikes and they end up getting berated by her since she doesn't want to see them get killed. She explains that she is also new the crew and talks about her backstory of how Captain Trotter saved her from the desert, before the two get a move along. In another room with Captain Trotter, he reads the hieroglyphics about some gods known as the Ancients and how they want a sacrifice to be made. The player process to solve multiple puzzles and battle their way through many sentient hieroglyphics, and makes it into a room hosting a shovel. The player inspects it before The Great Flocci emerges from the shovel, dismayed upon his encounter with the player again, who still insists to have their second wish. The Great Flocci refuses at first, but after Calypso claims that he won't be indebted to the player if he does grant them their wish, he obliges. The player requests to have the shovel and The Great Flocci gives it to them before he flies off, now free from his imprisonment. The player obtains the shovel before Terry and Jerry appear, as they were apparently chasing after The Great Flocci for wishes. After some chatting between the two duos, the player askes Terry how to utilize the shovel, and he simply tells them to try digging in sand pits with it, before Terry and Jerry leave.

Now learning how to dig with the shovel, the player burrows their way through the sand pits and meet up with Captain Trotter at the Ancient Bridge. The captain is seen reading some hieroglyphics, already picking up some knowledge about the gods known as the Ancients. Captain Trotter and Calypso then talk to each other, and soon all three cross the bridge, only to be ambushed by the Temple Guardian, consisting of a floating Pharaoh's head and two hands, as it destroys the bridge and send the character falling. The player and Calypso defeat the Temple Guardian and soon the trio crash land into Red Sun River. Captain Trotter expresses his concern for the crew and advises the player and Calypso to stay safe during the rest of their travel. All three soon discover the remains of the pirate crew's corpses and Captain Trotter slowly starts to lose his level-headedness over this matter. The player continues their way to the Firebrand, located on the peak of the Mount Red Sun in their view, where they continue to fight enemies, dodge traps, and solve a final puzzle to access their path to the sword.

The player then scales Mount Red Sun and soon reach the peak hosting the Firebrand. During this time, Captain Trotter laments the loss of his crew while Calypso comforts him, but the player ignores this and walks up to claim the sword. They are caught by the two in the act and Captain Trotter holds them at gunpoint, preventing them from stepping any closer. He accuses the player for betraying them, as he falsely believes that they were only using them to obtain the Firebrand and then sacrifice them to the Ancient after they have outlived their use to them. Calypso tries to get them to stop fighting as that would only fulfill the prophecy of the Ancients.

In a selfish act to survive, Captain Trotter shoves Calypso to the player's side and steals the Firebrand before battling the two. He is defeated and the captain explains that he is starting to hear voices in his head, much to the player's shock, when the captain now believes the two are responsible for his crew's demise before lunging at them for the sacrifice. Calypso shoves Captain Trotter into the lava, causing him to perish and she immediately feels remorseful. The player tries comforting her, but she then rants to them about their obsession and how the captain's demise would have been avoided otherwise, before she realizes and questions the absence of the Firebrand. Due to Captain Trotter acting as the sacrifice, the Ancients are summoned. They tell the two that they are pleased with the sacrifice and want to now show the world their power before initiating the final battle against the two.

The Ancients are defeated by the two and they admit on how they are surprised that the human species are now capable of defeating gods though claim for things to stay the same. After thanking the two for the sacrifice, they reveal to the two on how Captain Trotter's soul is now housed in the Firebrand and that they will meet again someday, before they explode. The Firebrand is dropped and Calypso takes some time to apologize to Captain Trotter in spirit for not saving him and thank him for his benevolence. The player then obtains the Firebrand, adding another sword to their collection.
