Pohatu is one of the main protagonists alongside the other Toa Mata in the BIONICLE series. He is a Toa of Stone and also a member of the Toa Mata. Pohatu and the other toa nuva were created for the purpose of awakening the great spirit Mata Nui from his coma and for the defeat of the evil Makuta Teridax.
He was voiced by Trevor Devall in the animated series.
Personality
Pohatu was well-known of being cheerful, friendly and courageous. He also have a good relationship with the other Toa Mata and cared for his friends and other beings as well. He usually jokes around in times of danger and peace and never takes rude remarks too seriously and easily forgives his friends if they make a mistake.
However, he can be stubborn sometimes and was also not overly fond of animals, though he does enjoyed of some, but have a fear of scorpions.
Powers & Abilities
Tahu is a skillful master of fire. He controls the power of fire and flame as he uses them to shoot out fireballs at his enemies.

- In the prototype stages of BIONICLE, Pohatu was originally named as Kick.
