Pokémon (known as Pocket Monsters in Japan) are the magical creatures that inhabit the Pokémon world. They are a part of the highly successful Pokémon franchise.
Biography[]
First partner Pokémon is a terminology concept that refers to Pokémon that the player must choose between in the beginning of each Pokémon video game. Most First partner Pokémon are Grass, Fire, and Water types. In Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition and Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, Pikachu and Eevee are the games' first partner Pokémon. Pokémon Legends: Arceus had their first partners from different regions and their final evolved forms gained Regional forms.
Baby Pokémon are Pokémon at the lowest stage of Pokémon Evolution that cannot themselves breed.
Electric rodents are a group of Pokémon sharing several traits similar to Pikachu.
Some Pokémon have the ability to get stronger than their final evolution. It requires "a certain bond with their trainer" and a special stone called a Mega Stone. This is called a Mega Evolution. The Pokemon are stronger than their normal forms and often change many features, abilities and their form. After a battle finishes, they return to their normal form. This was introduced in the Sixth Pokémon generation with Pokémon X and Y.
