Mr. Anderson (first name unknown), better known as Polarity, is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Emma Meyer) of the Amazon series Gen V, a spin-off series of The Boys.
He is portrayed by Sean Patrick Thomas.

Not much is known about his life. Anderson was born in the 1970s, and shortly after his birth he was injected with Compound V with his parents' permission, turning him into a Supe.

- Magnetism Manipulation: Polarity possesses magnetism manipulation abilities, enabling him to control magnetic fields and magnetism with his hands. He is able to fully control metal and reshape it entirely, though he typically has to gesture with his hands in order to centralize the effects.
- Electromagnetic Pulse: Polarity possesses an evolved form of his magnetism manipulation that allows him to discharge a shockwave of electromagnetic energy, blasting anything or anyone back a fair distance. This EMP creates changing magnetic fields to disrupt nerve cells. He used this to disrupt Thomas Godolkin's powers and blast his host, Doug Brightbill, out of his window, freeing himself from his control.
- Superhuman Strength: Polarity possesses superhuman strength, which makes him stronger than humans and some Supes. He was strong enough to shove Greg off of himself, releasing his grip on him and slamming him into a wall.
- Superhuman Durability: Polarity possesses superhuman durability, making him more durable than humans and most Supes. He is durable enough to withstand a beating from Jordan and Sam under the possession of Thomas Godolkin. Being able to tank multiple energy blasts from Jordan and physical assaults from Sam and withstand being thrown into the concrete walls and columns of the training room breaking them in the process with only sustaining minor injuries.
- Superhuman Hearing: Polarity possesses superhuman hearing, allowing him to hear better than humans. Like all Supes, he can hear higher frequencies that humans cannot.[1]
