Pomni is the main protagonist of the Glitch Productions adult animated surreal/black comedy web series The Amazing Digital Circus. She is the newest member of the Digital Circus, discovering it after using a cursed VR headset. Terrified at the idea of being trapped forever in the Circus, Pomni now attempts to find an exit, much to the dismay of Caine, the circus' ringmaster.
She is voiced by Lizzie Freeman, who also voiced Hinata Tachibana from Tokyo Revengers, Chizuru Ichinose in Rent a Girlfriend, Trish Una in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo, Yanfei from Genshin Impact, ENA and Moony in the former's titular series, Jaune in Spooky Month,
Appearance
Pomni is a stylized humanoid character, with a large head and small, slim limbs. She has completely white skin, with small markings imitating blush underneath her eyes, and thick ebony lines around her eyes that may represent eyeliner. Her pupil formation appears to change frequently, but most often appears as a red and blue pinwheel imprint. She has asymmetrical eyelashes, with her left eye having eyelashes on the top eyelid and her right eye having eyelashes on the bottom. She has short, straight medium black hair (which often appears brown due to lighting), with two small nuggets poking out from under her hat and two locks of hair formulating the flanks of her face. Pomni can change her teeth from flat to sharp at will.
Her ensemble resembles that of a clown, like Kaufmo, but with characteristics similar to a jester, rather than that of a circus clown. She wears a red and blue jumpsuit with round, poofy sleeves, and shorts, an asymmetrical disbandment of the red and blue colors in plain sections (for the torso part) and stripes (for the sleeves and shorts), and yellow accents, a pair of pom-poms, cuffs, and undershirt. On her head, she wears a matching striped, two-armed jester's hat, with small yellow bells on the tips of the hat's arms, which we never see separated from her head. She also wears gloves, with the left one being blue, and the right being red with the same yellow accents as the ones on her clothing. Inverse to this, her left shoe is red and her right shoe is blue.

As revealed in Episode 5, Pomni was once an accountant for a supermarket chain. It can be implied that she entered the Digital Realm because of her exploration in abandoned buildings and would record content of it. While her personality in real life is unknown, in the Digital Circus, Pomni is riddled with anxiety. More than the rest of the performers, Pomni struggles with the trials and tribulations of the digital plane, reacting with fear to Caine's antics and outright losing her mind when she realizes that the circus is her new home. She seems to get along with her circus peers when they meet and she apologizes to Ragatha when she leaves her at the mercy of Kaufmo showing that she has a heart.
Further into the show, Pomni's personality is further elaborated on, where she seems to be rather cynical and indifferent to the happenings of the Circus, getting annoyed when Ragatha tries to hype her up for Princess Loolilau's appearance and being confused at the presence of tankers in the Candy Kingdom's medieval setting. Pomni also seems to be somewhat hot-tempered as she gets mad at Jax at his antics endangering her life (though to be fair Jax did try to use her as a human bridge), and additionally acts in a frantic and unstable manner as she tries to escape the basement of Mildenhall Manor.
Despite this, Pomni is overall sympathetic and genuinely a good person at heart as she still cares for her fellow humans, feeling deep guilt for abandoning Ragatha and she comforts Gummigoo when he realizes that he's just an NPC, even offering to bring him back to the Circus where he can join the humans on adventures (she even cared a lot about him enough to talk to him and wish him a good day at Spudsy's).
Pomni also seems quite level-headed and rational during more normal and mundane adventures, proving herself to be a diligent and calm worker during her tenure at Spudsy's, fulfilling her duties as needed and even taking over some of Gangle's work after she begins to stress out, and was solving clues & hearing recording messages from the haunted mansion to get out of the haunted mansion alongside Kinger. She always treats the customers at Spudsys with respect & kindness, even the rude ones who ask for a stupid burger, she never hold any anger or even hatred whatsoever, than simply approved order, instead of rejecting it (and instead of being rude to the customer who eats his cereal or even yelling at him to go away, she politely said: 'there's a line of people behind'.). She also wanted to know if Gangle is fine, she also asked if her mask doesn't make her happy, which that shown she has genuine friendship between them, she also tries to make Gangle to feel better as possible, trying to make Gangle feeling relief.
While she doesn't agree with everything Jax says, but she did tell Ragatha it's fine express genuine emotions, and when she says: 'I think we all need to be an jerk sometimes.', she didn't say it to make her be a jerk all the time or make Ragatha have corrupting qualities, but rather explaining that Ragatha has to be her true self sometimes. When Jax argues with Ragatha, she tries to stop the argument & pacified the situation, before Ragatha might possibly do actions that she regret later, but Ragatha later apologized for losing her temper towards Jax lying about his gaslighting.
Regarding her interactions with Gummigoo when she saw Gummigoo, even Max & Chad again, she politely says hi & being nice to them, but when she's stalking the trio Gummigoo, Max & Chad. While she did stalk him, she didn't mean to seem obsessive, creepy or amorous, but rather confused about why Gummigoo doesn't remember Pomni herself. When the Gloink Queen asked for her order, Pomni leave, but not rudely, as she said: 'can you hold on for just a second', before she leave to see Gummigoo, than she said to Gummigoo: 'I-I just w-want to wish you a pleasant day, Thanks for eating at Spudsy's.
She shows honor towards Jax in episode 5 by not voting Jax to being forced into turning into a maid (nor laughing at him or mocking him), which she shows an honorable side that shows a side of genuine respect to Jax despite the way he's been acting. She has been empathizing & sympathizing with Jax in the Stargazing scene, trying to be respectful & listening to Jax calmly (which allowed Jax and Pomni to form a genuine bond with someone most people consider too much to handle), and even forms a genuine friendship with him on her side during the battle royale in episode 6. During said episode, Pomni shows a bit of a sadistic side, gleefully working with Jax to gun down the rival duos and even helping him to temporarily torment Zooble.
Despite this, Pomni does have restraint over her urges and only exhibits them during this unusually violent episode, as she later tries to make up with Ragatha for her behaviour towards her over the past few episodes and is genuinely hurt when Jax reveals he doesn't consider her a friend at all, dropping all of her faux-malicious behaviour when she realises that Jax isn't trying to play along with her anymore.

- The name Pomni can be translated in a variety of ways that may relate to Pomni's general character:
- In the Russian language, "Pomni" (Помни — an imperative form of the verb "помнить") means "remember" or rather "don't forget it/to". In context, it is used as "Hey, (x), remember to do (x)." or "Hey, do this, but remember what was in that tutorial video."
- Meanwhile, in the Polish language, "Pomni" is similar to the word "pomny", meaning "mindful" or "having something in consideration".
- Also in the Bulgarian language, "Pomni" ("Помни", which is a derivative form of the verb "Помня") means "Remember". In context, it's used as "(x) remembers that".
- According to Gooseworx, Pomni's favourite food is salmon, she is good at accounting and out of the cast she's the worst at cooking. Further AMAs reveal that Pomni's favourite colour is red and she actually used to be an accountant, which becomes plot relevant in Untitled.
- Seeing as Pomni has some knowledge on coding and game mechanics, which she uses to help Gummigoo, it's possible that she used to work with C&A, the company that created Caine and the Circus, which is presumably a game producer. This has been disproven though, seeing as she recounts working as a supermarket accountant.
- Early on in the show's development, Pomni was initially conceptualized as a frog. She was also meant to be male, swapping genders with Jax mid-development.
- Seeing as she appears in the Glitch Inn promotional video along with N, Pomni can be considered one of Glitch Productions' mascots.
- Pomni made a cameo in the SMG4 episode “The Very Safe & Legal SMG4 Show”, but was voiced by Elsie Lovelock (who also voiced Meggy Spletzer from the same series, Charlie Morningstar from the pilot of Hazbin Hotel, and Uzi Doorman from Murder Drones) instead of Lizzie Freeman.
- Pomni appears as the main protagonist of the non-canon production comics for The Amazing Digital Circus, in which she has:
- A much more cartoony and dopey vibe.
- An "Iconic unicorn horn" which can intercept Soviet radio signals.
- A mother who was married to Caine.
- A divorced brother-in-law named "The Bone Pastor" who lost his arm in his divorced and travels from his home to the Circus on a bike, which also implies the existence of a sibling.
- Snapchat, which she uses to receive a snap from Jax.
- The aforementioned unicorn horn is referenced in "Fast Food Masquerade", in which Jax remarks Zooble could have a unicorn horn in their parts collection that Pomni apparently always wanted, something the latter denies.
- While Pomni is unable to remember her real name, it was implied to be Martha and that Pomni in the real world is Martha from the “What's the Matter, Martha” YouTube music video developed by Kevin Temmer Tunes, a lead animator of the Digital Circus. Weirdly enough she was referred to it by Gummigoo in the fourth episode, and Martha is also (according to Gooseworx, who said so on social media) the name of the lady ghost in the third episode.
- It's also rumored that her name would be Christine as well.
- Pomni makes a brief cameo in Sr. Pelo's animation Mokey's Show: Christmas Public Enemy, in which she's absorbed and killed by Mokey while waiting in line to meet Santa.
- Mokey notably takes the form of Jax in a farmer outfit when killing her, referencing how content farm channels on Youtube tend to rip off the show due to its popularity.
- Her design is similar to that of the NiGHTS from Nights into Dreams. Much like other references in the series, this was a game that was popular in the 1990s, the time period where The Amazing Digital Circus supposedly takes place.
- In a Japanese ad for The Amazing Digital Circus, it's shown that Pomni does indeed fight back against Jax's brutal behavior and beats up him (Jax even had a hand in her face when Pomni was more than ready to beat him up again before Jax advised that he and Pomni should stay away from a abstracted character). This has been added to the scene where Pomni has fought against Jax after he lied that he doesn't care about her or others.
- This ad reveals to be a hint of what we'd get to see in episode 6 "They All Get Guns", where it's a more intense fight that's played somewhat more seriously in vast comparison.
- Pomni is possibly inspired by the Narrator from fight club, both him and Pomni works as accountants in a simple but boring 9-5 job, both seeks mild thrills, where Pomni explores abandoned buildings and the narrator does so by fighting and causing chaos, both are dissociative, Pomni by being in the circus and the Narrator by his suppression of his thoughts, both have at least one friend that serves as their evil counterparts, Jax to Pomni and Tyler Dudlen for the Narrator.
