The President is a major character in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
He is the thirteenth head of state of the United Federation. He resides in Central City in a building named the White House.
In English dub he is played by the late Steve Broadie and by the late Maddie Blaustein, in Japanese dub he is played by the late Kinryū Arimoto and by Yutaka Nakano.
History[]
Sonic Adventure 2[]
His first appearance occurs when Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower reach his limo on Central City's Route 101 to use his computer to pinpoint Dr. Eggman's location, as the doctor had contacted the President seconds earlier. provided an ultimatum: that he either let Eggman take control of the country, or he would use the Eclipse cannon to wipe out every single big city in the United Federation, and planned to give him 24 hours to decide, even if Sonic's arrival forced him to abandon the ultimatum.
Sonic Battle[]
The President realizes that Eggman had managed to take Gizoid, an ancient dangerous weapon. Three days later he sends Rouge to handle the situation.
Shadow the Hedgehog[]
Here the President shows a lot of admiration towards Sonic and Shadow for saving the world in Sonic Adventure 2, and appears in several cutscenes when trying to take on the alien invasion of the Black Arms.
In the last game of the game, in the finale, he is seen at the headquarters of the Guardian Units of Nations where he and the rest of the people at the base see a recording of Professor Gerald Robotnik. Recording helps Shadow motivate him to defeat Black Doom and Black Army once and for all by destroying the Black Comet with the Eclipse Cannon. The President thus understands that the Professor is a true hero in saving all humanity and therefore promises to create a brighter future, paying homage to Gerald whom the GUN commander calls an excellent idea.
Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)[]

- According to the President's statement in Shadow the Hedgehog in the Expert Mode of both Air Fleet and Black Comet, the President appears to have rather odd national events with other nations such as karaoke with the Minister of Finance and golf with the Chief Private Secretary of Japan.
