The Prince of Sablé is a character from For Frog The Bell Tolls (Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru in Japanese), serving as the game's main protagonist. He is the prince of the Sablé Kingdom and a friend and rival of Prince Richard of the Custard Kingdom. Throughout his game, the Prince of Sablé works with Richard to stop King Delarin after word breaks out that the latter invaded the Mille-Feuille Kingdom and apparently kidnapped Princess Tiramisu. The game also sees him being turned into a frog in order to progress at certain points in the game.

Description[]

The Prince has three forms that he can shift between. In his human form (his default form), the Prince has brown hair and blue eyes, and his outfit is a red prince's outfit. His frog form depicts him as petite and green, and later in the game, a snake form is introduce, being blue in color. All three forms have his purple cape.

History[]

The Sablé Prince and Richard of the Custard Kingdom were fencing rivals, but they were still friendly. At the start of the game, someone delivers a message that King Delarin has invaded the peaceful Mille-Feuille Kingdom with his army and has abducted Princess Tiramisu. The two princes then set forth to save the Kingdom and end King Delarin's reign of terror.

Other Appearances[]

The Prince appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a sticker showing his artwork for the game. He also appears in Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a trophy, transforming into either a frog or snake to attack enemies with a dust eruption.
