Princess Abigail, alias Kathryn Nolan was a princess and Daughter of King Midas of the Enchanted forest. She was forced to be betrothed to Prince James in order to unite her father's and King George's kingdoms. But her heart belonged to a gold cursed knight named Frederick. She is a character from the ABC series, Once Upon a Time and was one of the victims of the Evil Queen's Curse.
She is portrayed by Anastasia Griffith.
History[]
Before the First curse[]
Princess Abigail is the daughter of King Midas and the love of Frederick the knight's life. When Frederick was accidentally turned into gold by her father, she was heart broken since.
During a plan to unite her father's and King George's Kingdoms, Abigail was forced to marry the son of King George, Prince James. But James is actually his twin brother, David, who was forced to impersonate James against his will. Sometime later, when David, is in love with the Bandit Snow White, he was on the run from King George. Abgail had two bodyguards abduct him and bring him to her, for she wants his help. She confesses that like David, her heart really belongs to someone else. She brings him forth to the golden stature of cursed victim, Frederick and told him of the situation. The only potential way to free him is water from the Lake Nostos, which is guarded by a siren.
After David's battle with the siren, he returned with the water and helped pour it on the statue. The gold was melting and freeing Frederick, at long last. Frederick wondered what happened to him, but Abigail assured happily that he is alive as they kissed lovingly. Abigail introduced him to David for being the one who saved him. Frederick eternally grateful and in his dept. Charming requests him to pay him back by living with who is heart belongs to, but also requests for a horse and supplies for his journey to find Snow. Abigail wishes him luck as she and David are now happily satisfied. But before he leaves, Abigail cautiously forewarns him with concern that once King George learns that the union of the kingdoms has been thwarted, he will go after him and try to destroy his happiness. Abigail and Frederick were friends and allies of Charming since then.
During the First Curse[]
During the curse, Abigail lived under a fake identity as Kathryn Nolan, where she and David were thought to be husband and wife when the truth is, they are actually separated from their real wife and husband by Regina's curse.
After the First Curse[]
Like every victim of the curse, Abigail was freed and got her memory and identity back, and presumingly is reunited with her real husband, Frederick.
After the third Curse[]
Abigail was seen at Granny's during the coronation ceremony of Snow White and Charming's newborn son, and was seen happily chatting with Granny.
