Princess Comet is the titular main protagonist of the anime Cosmic Baton Girl Princess Comet-san. She is a selfless princess of the Harmonica Star who came to Earth to find the prince and discover the true meaning of "twinkling eyes."
She was voiced by Aki Maeda, who also cast as Noriko Nakagawa in Battle Royale.
Story[]
Princess Comet was a twelve-year-old princess from the Harmonica Star who was sent to Earth to find the prince of the Tambourine Star. Her only clue was that the prince would be identified by the "twinkling eyes". While on Earth, She took up residence with the kindly Fujiyoshi family. She quickly became attached to the planet and its inhabitants, especially the boy, Keisuke Mishima, whose eyes often "twinkle" mysteriously. She used her magic to help people, solved everyday problems, and competed with her rival, Princess Meteor of the Castanet Star at times, for the Prince's hand. Her journey was one of self-discovery. It led her to understand that the "twinkling" she seeked was rooted in deep mankind emotions, not just royal identity.

She has short pink hair, often accessorized with cute hairpieces. She wears brightly colored magical girl-style outfits adorned with star patterns, presenting a sweet and energetic appearance.
Personality[]
She is kind and compassionate, always eagers to help others, and grows deeply attached to the family and friends she meets on Earth. Curious about everything on this planet, she sometimes comes across as a bit absent-minded or clumsy, but adapts quickly. She tasks with finding the prince, she develops profound feelings for Keisuke Mishima throughout the story, demonstrating her dedication and passion.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Star Power / Love Power - She channels powerful cosmic magic. Initially, this is referred to as Star Power. As her feelings for Keisuke and her friends deepen, her magic evolves into the more potent Love Power.
- Magical Baton - She uses her signature small baton as a focus to channel and execute various spells, often accompanied by the iconic phrase, "Star Power! Nebula's Magic!"
- Spell Casting - Her abilities include telekinesis, transformation and flight. She also creates force fields, and summons objects.
- Detection - Her companion, Rubba Ball, can detect traces of the Prince's star power.
