Princess Peach takes a more active role in this game. At the beginning, she, along with Mario, Luigi and Toad, are watching a fireworks show as they walk along a path leading from the castle until they find a tilted glass pipe. After Mario and Luigi fix it, a green fairy-like Sprixie princess appears and tells them that Bowser has kidnapped and trapped the rest of the Sprixie princesses in jars. However, they then witness him arrive through the pipe and capture her in a jar before escaping through it. Princess Peach is the first one to jump into the pipe after them and ends up falling in, with Mario quickly going in after her and the other two following suit to ensure she does not land into trouble. They find themselves in a realm known as "The Sprixie Kingdom" and set off to find the Sprixies. Throughout the game, she can be selected to play with on any of the levels and can use all the same usual power-up items as Mario, Luigi and Toad, as well as the new Super Bell, which allows them to obtain a Cat Suit that allows them to utilize new cat-like abilities, mainly running faster on all fours, performing unique scratch attacks, and climbing up walls to reach otherwise inaccessible areas.
After the heroes save the final Sprixie, Bowser recaptures all 7 and heads to his amusement park fortress. After they make their way through all the amusement park levels, defeat his minions and reach him in his fortress, Bowser uses the Super Bell to transform into a cat form called Meowser. The group proceeds to climb the tallest tower by utilizing the Super Bell and defeat Meowser. The heroes then say goodbye to the freed Sprixies and travel home through the pipe back to the Mushroom Kingdom. After the end credits, the Sprixies build a rocket ship in World 1 so that when they return, they can play extra levels in outer space and collect more Green Stars.
Super Mario Odyssey[]
Princess Peach is once again kidnapped by Bowser, but this time, Bowser tries to marry her and arranges a big, extravagant wedding by travelling to various kingdoms and having a group of andromorphic rabbits that he's hired named the Broodals steal various prized accessories for it. Princess Peach spends most of the game on his airship along with Cappy's younger sister Tiara, whom Bowser also kidnapped as the very first accessory for the wedding, which is why Cappy, one of the Cap Kingdom's sentient hat-like creatures called Bonneters, decides to team up with and help Mario to save them.
Shortly after their journey begins, Mario and Cappy repair an airship called the Odyssey. Eventually, after travelling through various kingdoms and solving various problems along the way, they catch up to them on the Moon's surface cathedral where Bowser is holding the wedding. Inside, they find Princess Peach struggling with Bowser over a giant ring that he's trying to put on her. The two of them battle Bowser in the Moon's interior while Princess Peach can only watch. Bowser is defeated and Mario frees Princess Peach and Tiara, but the cavern begins to collapse. However, Mario uses Cappy's capture ability to take control of an unconscious Bowser and escapes to the surface with Princess Peach and Tiara using his strength and endurance. After Princess Peach thanks Mario for his help, Bowser regains consciousness and decides to properly propose to Princess Peach, causing Mario to do the same in haste. Overwhelmed, Princess Peach turns down their proposals as she, Cappy, and Tiara board the Odyssey. Mario and Bowser are both heartbroken until Princess Peach tells Mario to come home with her. Mario boards the ship just in time, leaving Bowser stranded on the moon.
In the aftermath, Mario quickly finds out from the Toads at her castle that she has suddenly disappeared again and are panicking, likely because they assume that she's already been kidnapped again. However, when he and Cappy resume their travels, they quickly discover that Princess Peach and Tiara are simply travelling to all of the different kingdoms on their own accord as a vacation since they couldn't enjoy them the first time. Princess Peach can be found in every kingdom in a specific location and is often dressed in a very specific manner that's appropriate for the climate of that respective kingdom. If Mario speaks to her, she'll compliment the kingdom for the unique pleasures it has to offer and give Mario a Power Moon that she found. If she is found and spoken to in every kingdom, she will return to the Mushroom Kingdom, where she can be found on the castle balcony and give Mario one more Power Moon. At this point, she will have also invited residents of the other kingdoms to visit the Mushroom Kingdom so that the Toads can converse with them and learn more about the places they come from, while in turn, the residents of the other kingdoms can learn more about the Mushroom Kingdom from them.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder[]
Princess Peach is one of the playable characters in the game. Peach is present at an event held by Prince Florian when Bowser took the Wonder Flower to become Castle Bowser and terrorize the Flower Kingdom. ~ Princess Peach |
Princess Peach appears in this game as the main protagonist once again. One fine day, she was taking a stroll through her kingdom, when one of her Toads presented a flyer advertising a show at the Sparkle Theater. But just as they arrived to see the show, a wicked sorceress of the Sour Bunch; Madame Grape suddenly made her grand entrance and took over the entire theater, leaving Peach, who lost her luggage and crown in the chaos, trapped inside it. Teaming up with the Theater's guardian, Stella, it's up to the princess with the power of Stella's ribbon, to save ten stolen performances from becoming terrible tragedies, and defeat the Sour Bunch in ten different transformations: Swordfighter, Detective, Pâtissière, Kung Fu, Ninja, Cowgirl, Figure Skater, Dashing Theif, Mighty, and even a Mermaid.
By saving each performance, Princess Peach and Stella remove magical threads preventing them from exploring Sparkle Theater and saving all its star performers, the Sparklas, from imprisonment until they eventually discover the doorway to Grape's domain. Stella and the Sparklas use the power of Sparkle to transform the princess into Radiant Peach for the final act against Madame Grape. However, the sorceress was determined to end her show as a tragedy and became a giant which destroyed the entire theater. This was not enough to deter theatergoers as they empowered Peach with enough Sparkle to become Super Radiant Peach, allowing her to fight Grape with such a shining performance that it eliminated the villainess and restored Sparkle Theater to its former glory. With everything back to normal, Princess Peach and Stella celebrated with everyone who supported them. During the credits, Peach was reunited with her Toads, who returned her crown to her.
