Nekron, you're a great power in the world. You have all that any man ever wants or needed, and yet you despair. For there is one thing you lack. One gift that only you can bestow between our people. Peace. This is the gift that heals the heart of the giver. Nekron, I extend my hand in friendship. I offer peace between our people. Will you not take my hand? Will you not call me friend?
~ Princess Teegra

Princess Teegra is the deuteragonist from Ralph Bakshi's 1983 animated film, Fire and Ice.

She was portrayed by Cynthia Leake and voiced by Maggie Roswell (who later voiced Maude Flanders, Elizabeth Hoover, Luann Van Houten and Barbara Bush in The Simpsons).

Role[]

In the beginning of the movie, she is kidnapped by Nekron's sub-humans, because Nekron needed a bride. But Teegra makes an escape and comes upon Larn, the only survivor of a village razed by glaciers, who offers to escort her back to Firekeep. As Teegra is recaptured and shackled, Larn teams with Darkwolf, the mysterious warrior who saves Teegra and then travel to Icepeak to stop Juliana. Darkwolf faces Nekron and kills him as Icepeak succumbs to a deadly lava flow released by King Jarol and is destroyed. The film finishes with Larn about to kill Aggravator until Teegra stops him saying that "it's over" and embraces him. Darkwolf is seen atop a cliff; he watches the pair, smiles and then disappears. Teegra and Larn kiss as the credits roll.
