Princess Zelda is the main heroine of BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets, a non-canon game made for the Broadcasting Satellaview.

Appearance[]

Zelda bears resemblance to how she appeared in A Link to the Past.

Biography[]

Six years after Link defeated Ganon, Zelda was having nightmares about the Eastern Palace before the Hero of Light found themselves teleported to Hyrule which caught the attention of Zelda and Aginah and followed them thanks to the light that contained the hero and she carried the wounded youth to the smaller palace west of the East Palace where Aginah explained to her that Sahashrala, his brother, was seeking out Link. Aginah advised Zelda to retreat to Hyrule Castle for her safety, before she departed she noted that the person could be the hero of light who would save Hyrule.

Chapter 1[]

Sometime after the Hero of Light defeats the Armos Knights as well as Moldorm to obtain two of the eponymous Ancient Stone Tablets, Zelda gets chased by Octorocks to a glade south of the Eastern Palace, which lead to her screaming for help. On the advice of Aginah after hearing from the fortune teller, the Hero of Light kills the monsters and escorts her back to Hyrule Castle where a maid rewards the protagonist rupees as thanks. At the end of the chapter, the hero arrives at Hyrule Castle where they and Aginah were greeted by Zelda. She tells the hero that they are the only to deal with the crisis that is happening. Aginah mentions to her the tablets the youth collected which lead to her positing that there are other Ancient Stone Tablets across Hyrule but declines to come to Sahashrala's house as she should not leave Hyrule Castle.

Chapter 2[]

As the Hero of Light was spending the next day trying to find two more of the Ancient Stone Tablets and a mushroom needed to create Magic Power, Zelda extends information on an empty bottle sold at Kakariko Village after being informed of it by the surviving soldier from the Eastern Palace. She later warns the hero about the Helmasaur King who was guarding one of the Ancient Stone Tablets, advising them to use bombs to blow off its iron mask and attack its weak point she then cheers for them to defeat the beast as part of their quest to save Hyrule. Later on, Zelda recalls how Link defeated Arghus by using the hook shot to pick off the rocks shielding it to break them one by one until the monster could not defend itself with them anymore which was one act of history the Hero of Light ended up repeating.

As the day was coming to an end, Aginah explains to Zelda that the hero got two more stone tablets and she explains that Link's house should have the Book of Mudora. She explained it was dangerous to go alone, but Aginah insisted that he should go with the hero there.

Chapter 3[]

The next day when the search of the next two tablets started at Link's House, Zelda; thanks to the solder; notifies the hero about the gold potion being sold at the magic shop and not only will it restore power and magic, it will give the hero a greater power. Also, she encourages the hero to keep trying when the bee that targets monster disappears, however she also warns them to be careful of the bomb blasts. After hearing from the soldier again, Zelda informs the protagonist of the price slash happening at the magic shop. When the priest arrives after being saved from drowning, Zelda lamented how wet his robes were and thanks the hero for saving him. She then explains that the Power Glove is needed to lift heavy stones.

Soon, she asks the fortune teller where she learns that the hero no longer has unlimited bombs and he must be wary on how much they have left. A bit later, Zelda extends the news of fairies showing up to aid the hero in their quest for a short while. Soon, Zelda explains to the hero that their sword is now capable of shooting beams. After asking the fortune teller again, she extends the news about the half-price potion sale being over to the protagonist and should seek out a fairy fountain. Soon, Zelda learns of the sword losing the beam power and asks the hero to keep trying to save the day.

Zelda soon hears of the mysterious power of Hyrule supporting the hero and maintains their support in them doing their best. After another talk with the Fortune Teller, she informs the hero to try out the infinite arrows on powerful foes. When the rental shop opened again, Zelda asked the soldier to keep quiet to Aginah as he is busy trying to find the Book of Mudora. The Fortune Teller then explains there is not much time left for the day and informed Zelda of the hero losing their infinite arrow buff leading to her extending the news.

Zelda soon informed of the hero no longer being drained of magic when he uses it and that the fire rod will deal great damage on Mothula, another act of heroism the protagonist then repeats. After hearing from the Fortune Teller once more, Zelda asks the soldier to extend Aginah the news of the book being in the basement of Link's house before the hero loses the infinite magic power which leads to Zelda still encouraging the hero. After Aginah was able to find the book with the soldier's help, he and the Hero of Light head to Hyrule Castle and hand it over to Zelda who proceeds to examine the book and the tablets.

After examining them, Zelda learns that the tablets are referring to the sealed power on Death Mountain known as the Silver Arrow, she then allows Aginah and the hero to head for the church where the priest invites them to spend the night there.

Chapter 4[]

During the last day of the quest to save Hyrule, Zelda hurries over to the church to explain to Aginah of a prophetic dream where she is on Death Mountain and despite his concerns, joins the Hero of Light for the bulk of the day as only she is able to read the Book of Mudora as it is crucial for her to break the seal herself. Aginah then prays for the hero to keep Zelda safe and summons the fortune teller to predict her future. Zelda then accompanies the hero into the underground dungeon at the graveyard. They proceed to descend downwards towards Kholdstare whom is defeated after the hero followed Aginah's advice to use the Fire Rod to melt its shield of ice then cut down the monster after it split into three, procuring the seventh tablet in the process. Zelda then witnesses as the hero pulls out and draws the Master Sword before taking the tunnel up Death Mountain. As they continue the travel, Zelda remembers how she had to walk through a dark and wet section of the secret Hyrule Castle passage which she found a pain to go through but she still maintains her optimism and encourages her escort not to give up

On the second-to-last floor, Zelda watches as the hero fights Trinexx. On her advice, the Hero of Light uses the fire rod to destroy the blue head and the ice rod on the red head before proceeding to slash the big glowing segment of Trinexx's snake form, earning the last of the Ancient Stone Tablets in the process. Once the duo reach the giant stone slab at the top of Death Mountain, Zelda proceeds to take her time translating both the slab and the eight stone tablets so she can learn how to break the seal while advising the protagonist to be well-equipped by the time she is done. Later the fortune teller was looking into the crystal ball to find that Ganon has returned. Fortunately, Zelda managed to complete her translation on how to break the seal and promptly summons the hero.

Once there, Zelda chants the spell to break the seal so the hero gets the Silver Arrows and open a path to where Ganon's Tower is. Zelda also explains that in order to defeat Ganon he must light the lamps anytime the room goes dark and Ganon turns invisible then strike him in order to shoot him with the silver arrows. After Ganon's demise, Zelda manages to safely descend Death Mountain where she revealed that if Ganon has not been stopped, the world would have been dragged into deep darkness. Before Zelda returns to Hyrule Castle, she heads to the Master Sword's pedestal with the hero and Aginah where she says good bye as witnesses the former return to their home world after placing the sword back. Zelda stares at the Master Sword one last time before heading home.
