Principal Nigel Brown is a supporting character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He is the principal of Elmore Junior High, but is not very responsible when it comes to running the school. He is madly in love with Miss Simian.
He was voiced by Lewis Macleod in the first season and by Steve Furst from the second season onwards.
Appearance[]
Principal Brown is a slug with a thick coat of brown fur that covers his entire body, except for his eyes. He wears thick round glasses. He also has a nose that is hidden under his furry coat.
Underneath his fur he has tan-tinted skin. Principal Brown speaks in a soft-spoken tone of voice, with a slight British accent.
Personality[]
Principal Brown is constantly flirting with Miss Simian, much to everyone else's dismay. Because of this, he does not pay much attention to the students. However, he does occasionally take his job seriously, punishing students for their antics. He is somewhat arrogant and disciplinarian, and often abuses his power for his own advantage. He is also very mysterious, as a running gag exists in the show where he will conceal many secrets and his true identity. As a result, he acts paranoid and erratically. In addition to this, Principal Brown has also been shown to be very nosy and get into the Wattersons' personal business.

- In some episodes, a cyan colored character that closely resembles him can be seen in the lunchroom.
- Principal Brown's diploma is actually fake.
- He also works as a rotary brush in an automatic car wash.
- No matter how much hair he waxes, it instantly grows back.
- He apparently grows a massive amount of hair every day.
- Not even he knows what species he is.
