Priya is a contestant as well as the main protagonist of the 2023 reboot of the Canadian reality show, Total Drama Island, and the deuteragonist of the second reboot season. She appears as the member of Ferocious Trout in the first season, and the captain of Team Rat Face in the second season. Her parents are really big Total Drama fans to the point that they trained her for sixteen years just in case there was ever a reboot in the future.
Her parents' training truly paid off, as Priya wound up being the winner of the first reboot season, which won her the million-dollar prize. That training helped her go nearly as far in the second season, as well, as she managed to come up just short of the finale, finishing in fourth place.
She was voiced by Eman Ayaz.
Appearance[]
Priya is an Indian teenage girl who has a tan complexion and dark brown wavy hair. She also wears a short sleeved turquoise blue square neck top, blue high-waist skinny jeans and orange canvas shoes. She wears light blue ball stud earrings.
Personality[]
Priya appears to be a charismatic and determined girl who gets along with most others. Likewise, her presence convinces an otherwise stoic Millie to develop empathy with others and realize what a jerk she’s been to everyone by the end of the season.
Likewise, Priya is prepared for numerous challenges due to her parents training her for them since infancy. This eventually enables her make it all the way to the finale of the first reboot season, and to just one round shy of the finale of the second Reboot season.
Trivia[]
- Priya is the first female Total Drama contestant of Indian descent (with Raj being the first male contestant of such descent).
- She is the first winner who is definitely, canonically the winner of her season, as no alternate ending for a possible Bowie win was ever created.
- Priya has caused the second-highest elimination in Total Drama Island (2023), she indirectly eliminated Damien, Ripper, and Millie.
