~ Crazy Dave talking about Dr. Brainstorm. |
Professor Brainstorm is a major protagonist in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. He was originally a zombie who wanted to win a prize with his invention to travel to other dimensions. Dr. Zomboss would rob him of this by stealing his invention and taking credit for his idea.
Background[]
While not much is known about his early life other than that unlike the other zombies he willing died. In some kind of experiment much like Dr. Zomboss he killed himself in an attempt to become immortal via becoming a zombie. Much like Zomboss he succeeded, however unlike Dr. Zomboss he didn't become immortal for the sake of power but rather so that he could continue experimenting. Brainstorm kept on experimenting in hopes of one day being able to travel to other dimensions. To his surprise he was able to do this; Zomboss would take credit for his idea and this led to Brainstorm having feelings of anger and jealously. He would be apprehend by the plants after Zomboss activated his portal. Surprisingly Brainstorm was happy to see that he was being accused of what Zomboss had caused because it proved that the plants saw how intelligent he was. Brainstorm would at first fight the plants, however after the plants realized that Brainstorm wasn't behind it he told the plants what Zomboss's plans were. Brainstorm would likely end up joining the plants after this temporarily to get his revenge on Dr. Zomboss for stealing his invention.

- This is the third time a Phineas and Ferb reference is made in the Plants vs. Zombies series. The first time is when the Zombot Sphinx-inator has the suffix "-inator", referencing the running gag and habit of how Doofenshmirtz names his inventions.
