Professor Glaux was a supporting character in the 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail. He was a Zatzka, an anthropomorphic owl-man who was known for pioneering the "Dreamweaver Project" in Penacony. Once the head of the Nightingale Family, and also the former head professor at Astral Ecology School in Intelligentsia Guild, Glaux has become the first official dean of the Penacony Paperfold University and was posthumously immortalized in the Penacony History.
History[]
In 2147 Amber Era, the Head Professor of the Astral Ecology School, Glaux abandoned his post to join The Watchmaker in Penacony. He later became the head of the Nightingale Family and led them repelling the forces of Interastral Peace Corporation with Dreamscape Weapons during Penacony's War of Independence. Four years later, he led the Nightingale Family pioneering the Dreamweaving Project. According to negotiations, Professor Glaux had no interest to join The Family of Harmony but was willing to support the Dreamscape development plan as Th Family suggested. The Nightingale Family had completed the twelve Dreamscapes thanks to Glaux' well-talented architects. Among them, there are five architects known as "Famous Five Origamists", Joey, Vaughn, Barlow, Fischer, and Orla. Professor Glaux of the Nightingale Family led Penacony entering a rapid development named "Dreamchaser Era".
During the Penacony Civil War, Professor Glaux rescues Gopher Wood after the ensuing explosion in his home, but Gopher's wings were severly damaged by the explosion caused by the rebel troopers. The badly wounded Gopher Wood was brought by Professor Glaux into a hospital and later visited by The Watchmaker.
As the Reverie Hotel opened, the first Charmony Festival took place and successfully held in there. Construction of the Twelve Hours of the Dreamscapes was almost near its end. The Oak Family Head, Gopher Wood declared the "Unity of the Five Major Lineages", which the head of Nightingale Family, Glaux refuses the call. Due to the refusal from Nightingale Family, their members were brutally treated by the hounds from the Bloodhound Family, causing the accidental deaths of Joey, Vaughn and Barlow, three of the five Famous Origamists. Orla escapes from the Family's unlawful use of force and later rebuilt the Dreamflux Reef. Glaux resignes his post as the Head of the Nightingale Family and founded the Penacony Paperfold University to teach the potential future generations of the Dreamweavers. Meanwhile, Fischer became the new head of the Nightingale Family after Glaux. Despite the resistance of Glaux and the other Five Origamists, Fischer ultimately ceded the Nightingale Family to be unified with The Family.
