Personality[]
“ | Fear not fair viewers, for there is a man, a man of science, a forward-thinking man who looks back.. back to a sweeter time where there was a spice of life and everything was.. nice.. | „ |
~ The Narrator introducing Professor Utopium in the powerpuff girls movie. |
Professor Utopium As a father figure, he often lectures the girls of moral lessons on how to be civilized and well-behaved. While in most episodes, his lessons were simple and easy to understand, such as not to steal, not to lie, not to envy, not to be so competitive. In "Knock it off" He is willingly to risk himself to save the powerpuff girls by attempting to divert Dick from eliminating them of their Chemical X, however unlike his old friend, Professor Utopium shows genuine affection and treats them as being a family as being more to compare them as their greatest experiment onto any other invention he had created, regarding his technology as his "second" in Get Back Mojo. However, in the series finale "See Me, Feel Me, Gnomey", Professor was more political, stressing that the girls chose peace over freedom for having given up their powers to a gnome in exchange for getting rid of their crime-fighting duties. Because of this, the gnome became a dictator who forced everyone to sing and worship him, and Utonium compared the citizens to cows, then pressed for the girls to restore their country back into a democracy. He also temporarily neglected his duties for weeks after starting falling in love with Mr. Keane with so much damage and destruction happening behind him, becoming more absent from the Girls who needed his permission to fight crime as they waited, until the mayor interrupted and indirectly manages to help break up Professor and Keane then make up the atrocities in Townsville. He is shown to be quite resilient and doesn't strain his anger or even lashes out toward his daughters, even Bliss whom he is shown empathy towards due to not understanding her powers despite the destruction the latter caused. He can also sometimes act childish and slightly immature sometimes as in The PowerPuff Girls Rule!! Where he mocks the competing villains in the girls kart.

Upon nearly completing the process of the mixing stage of the foundational ingredients, Mojo's tantrums suddenly reached a breaking point and shoved the professor to accidentally smashed Chemical X with his spoon, which infused with the ordinary ingredients that soon began an foreboding and botched explosion, knocking over the professor, and creating the Girls along with amplifying powerful abilities including disfiguring Mojo with an oversized brain. The viability of The Professor's experiment worked well, it mesmerised and enthralled him so greatly by the presence of three perfect little girls emerged to welcome their new father. The Professor shortly threw out Mojo in anger due to his former assistant's constant reckless behaviour leading Mojo to start his vengeance and envy towards the Powerpuff Girls as a result.
