Professor Willow (Japanese: ウィロー博士 Dr. Willow) is a main character in the mobile game Pokémon Go. Willow acts as a mentor that guide the trainer on their Pokémon journey. He gives the player instructions, tips and special research tasks.
Biography[]
Currently, there's not much information about Professor Willow's early life. He grew up together with his mom and dad as an only child. Willow's birthday is July 21, which makes his zodiac sign Cancer. He learned his love of Pokémon and exploring from his parents. His dad was fascinated by the outdoors and that's why Willow loves to be outdoors and exploring. His interest in Pokémon habitats and distribution comes from his mom's research about Pokémon ecology. When he got older he started working as an assistant to Professor Oak. Willow still has contact with and looks up to Professor Oak. Willow soon became a Pokémon professor himself and even got three assistants; Candela (leader of Team Valor), Blanche (leader of Team Mystic) and Spark (leader of Team Instinct). Although it's unknown how they became his assistants.
