Quawks is similar in appearance to Squawks save for having purple feathers rather than green.
Powers and Abilities[]
Depending on the game, the Kongs either will ride Quawks on a one-way ride down or use his transformation barrel where he will use his bare claws to carry any barrel and drop it onto enemies.
History[]
Donkey Kong Country 2[]
He only appears in the stage world Parrot Chute Panic of the Gloomy Gulch. Unlike the other Quawks he can't spit eggs from his mouth, in the game he has to help the Kongs get to their goals, and he can fly. Anytime the Kongs get close to certain patches of ground, he will drop them.
Donkey Kong Country 3[]
Quawks returns in this game where he makes use of his empty claws in order to carry barrels and drop them as a means to defend himself. He can also now fly around like Squawks had. Both of which is thanks to a transformation barrel.
He first appears in Low-G Labyrinth where Dixie and Kiddie enter his transformation barrel in order to navigate the Buzz infested level until they get to a point where they pass the no Quawks sign. He later appears in Buzzer Barrage where the Kongs again enter his barrel in order to traverse the cave by striking down buzzes and avoiding Kopters until they reach the no Quawks Sign.
