Queen Danielle is one of the supporting characters in the 2007 animated film, Barbie as The Island Princess. She is the queen of Apollonia who rules with her husband, King Peter. She has a pet monkey named Tallulah.

She is voiced by Patricia Drake.

History

At first, Danielle, Peter, and her family were introduced by Prince Antonio and Rosella. While a young woman named Princess Luciana going to downstairs as supporting Danielle and Peter, who have for meeting with Antonio and Rosella. Danielle wants to make Luciana for being in fancy with Antonio, Luciana pick on to married him then relationship must come out and Rosella dig out to pertaining by them all. Luciana's mother, Queen Ariana is went by downstairs, told them by the time.

Before the wedding, Ariana was prepare to executed Antonio's family and avenge her late parents death, who are banishing into pig farms and killing off in few years ago, in that case to conquering the kingdom by intention, her feared is go on. In the night of party, Danielle and Peter are showing Luciana was dancing with Antonio, Ariana speaking with the two, as Luciana continues to helping her was to be it. One day, Danielle saw Tallulah was sleeping in the room, disabled who become a sick, as now to heal her by feeling bored.

Previously, Tallulah eating banana who getting poisoned by Ariana's three pet rats, Nat, Pat, and Matt, yet she relived by Danielle. Later on, Danielle and Peter told Rosella by the way, Rosella thinking of Ariana's deny plots. Danielle was so did know that Ariana has been violated major sin by putting a poisoned into the wedding cake, Ariana saw her pets is died by poison cake than so horrible, pushing down Rosella and Antonio, its time to escape from kingdom, by the ended up to defeated by Rosella then throwing into pig pen.

After Rosella save the Apollonia from Ariana, Danielle and Peter are apologize with Rosella, Luciana does not agreed to marry Antonio but succeeded her mother as become a good queen by herself, let Rosella to marry him as well. However, at the end, she and Peter were attended Antonio and Rosella's wedding together, farewell to them with Luciana and Peter.

Personality

It's harder to judge and be more caring than her husband, King Peter and Queen Danielle, not to despise the girl like King Peter, not only because of her extraordinary talent, but also because the Queen is not sure how to treat her, but she still can't judge her quickly.

When Antonio married Luciana instead of the girl he fell in love with (Ro), and although she didn't like it when Peter despised Ro, she still liked her husband.

When Tallulah became ill, she didn't like Ro because she thought she spread a sleepy disease (she didn't). She also seems to be unsure of the marriage between Antonio and Luciana and is trying to treat him well. At the end of the movie, she was the first to allow Antonio to collaborate with Ro, which meant she was very concerned about Antonio's happiness.

Trivia

Queen Danielle appears in the movie Barbie & The Diamond Castle as a lady that had got upset by Ian, and threw water on his twin Jeremy.
