The Queen MUTO, also known as MUTO 3, the Six-Legged MUTO or Barb, is a minor character in the 2019 film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. She is an individual MUTO-like creature who appears as a minor Titan that obeys Ghidorah, later Godzilla.
Appearance[]
Being possibly in her later life-cycle stage just above that of M.U.T.O. Prime, Queen MUTO bears similar characteristics of the latter while still retaining the ordinary female MUTO: she maintains her dark body color, multiple scythe-like limbs, and red elongated eyes. She also retains her previous life-cycle's limb arrangement while having a newly developed spikey back.
Personality[]
Queen MUTO seemed to lack the malicious streaks that MUTO Prime and MUTO couple had. In fact, destruction she released to the world mostly due to her following Ghidorah's orders and upon his defeat, she bowed to Godzilla without visible signs of hesitation and joined him him in restoring their own planet.
Biography[]
Godzilla: King of the Monsters[]
The Queen MUTO was among the many Titans to be awakened by Ghidorah's call and started to rampage along with the other newly-awakened Titans. After Godzilla later killed Ghidorah, the MUTO assembled in Boston along with Scylla, Behemoth, Methuselah and Rodan. Each of the Titans progressively submitted to Godzilla as the new alpha of the Titans while he roared triumphantly.
Godzilla Dominion and Godzilla vs. Kong[]
Between the five years after Godzilla becomes the new alpha Titan, the Queen MUTO and all other Titans excluding Godzilla and Kong have stopped their activity, making Monarch label Queen MUTO's status as "Defeated". The prequel comic later revealed that Godzilla has her and other Titans return into dormancy after the alpha Titan senses Ghidorah is still alive.
Powers and Abilities[]
While none of the Queen M.U.T.O.'s abilities are shown, it can be assumed that she possesses many of the same traits as the two M.U.T.O.s from the first film have themselves.
Relationships[]
Ghidorah[]
Ghidorah was the first person the M.U.T.O's obeyed to. Later, Ghidorah was found dead by the Queen M.U.T.O and she served and obeyed Godzilla there after.
Godzilla[]
Godzilla and the Six-Legged M.U.T.O. seem to have a respectful relationship. Unlike the other two M.U.T.O.s, the Six-Legged M.U.T.O. does not attack Godzilla, but instead she bows to him to show how she respects and acknowledge him as the rightful alpha Titan.
