Quickmix is a minor character in Generation One of the Transformers franchise, based on a figure from the 1988 toyline. He was one of the Double Targetmasters.

Marvel Comics[]

Quickmix first appeared in the Marvel UK story "Aspects of Evil", where he was shown among the Autobots serving on Earth in an alternate 1991. He, Hot Rod and Landfill intervened in a battle between Scorponok and the Air Strike Patrol during a Decepticon Civil War. Scorponok promptly surrendered to the three Autobots, knowing they would be obligated to protect him from the Air Strike Patrol.

He made his first Marvel US appearance in Issue #60, as part of the Autobot resistance on Cybertron led by Emirate Xaaron. When the Classic Pretenders joined up with the Cybertronian Autobots, Quickmix joined them in a number of raids on the Decepticons before they returned to Earth. He returned in Issue #71, when Galvatron attacked Cybertron as a herald for Unicron. Quickmix convinced Emirate Xaaron to flee the base through a secret exit and took charge of the remaining Autobots. He survived the battle after Unicron sent his remaining heralds after the rogue Galvatron. He last appeared in Issue #74 among the Transformers gathered by Primus to battle Unicron, standing with Landfill and Backstreet.

In the UK annual story "Trigger-Happy", Quickmix was shown among the Autobots on Earth under Optimus Prime. He, Landfill and Scoop were supposed to ambush Decepticon couriers Ruckus and Crankcase. However, Backstreet panicked on seeing the Decepticons had air support and gave their position away. Quickmix helped search for the panicking Backstreet in the aftermath.

The post-movie version of the character appeared in the Dark Rodimus arc as one of the Autobots evacuating Cybertron for Earth. He and Red Alert were manning the bridge of the ship when it crashed as a result of sabotaged by the Unicron-possessed Rodimus Prime. He was shown lying deactivated in the aftermath.
