Peter Maximoff (alias: Quicksilver) is the supporting protagonist and character of X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse.
In The Movie
He is a teenage mutant with superhuman speed living in the 1970s' and lives his life as a petty thief stealing various thinks such as food, television sets, arcade cabinets, and street signs. One day, he is met by Wolverine, Hank McCoy (aka Beast), and Charles Xavier who ask him to help break Magneto out from the Pentagon. He uses his quick speed to get in restricted area, attack a security guard and use his uniform, and get to Magneto's restricted prison. Upon breaking him out, Peter mentions that his mother once knew a guy that could control metal. As the gang leave the Pentagon, Quicksilver wipes out a bunch of guards and he and the other mutants part their separate ways. He is later shown in his house watching TV with his little sister watching a broadcast of Magneto warning the world of him and all the mutants of the world.
