Biography[]
Zakiya was once an average gal who moved into New York City with big dreams of becoming a Michelin Star Chef. During the first few days she had a very hard time supporting herself since the city's financial and tax system was a bit high she expected, so she goes around town and did food performances showing off her skills while offering her baked good to the public just to make ends meet,
Then one day, Lady Bullseye stumbled upon one of her shows and she had exceptional skills in coordination, reflexes, and dexterity. She walked up to Zakiya and gave an offer to join her syndicate where she can train her in order to reach her full potential and be able to earn more than she could imagine instead of just living by off tip jar change. Zakiya was tempted by lady B's offer and seeing the desperate situation she is in she gladly accepted it.
During her time with the Diabolical Darts. Zakiya continue to hone her skills and gain new ones under Lady Bullseye's tutelage. She was able to pull off numerous successful heist around the city and worked her way up the ranks to eventually becoming Lady Bullseye's personal right hand woman, and second in command of the syndicate. At first she enjoyed seeing how good she was in stealing, but as time goes on along with the constant run in with the law she started to reflect on why she is doing this in the first place and realizing how far she strayed off on what she initial wanted to be. Then one night seeing that she had enough living her regretful criminal life, and decided to run away from the syndicate and start turnover a new leaf. Ever since that night she was constantly in hiding trying her best to avoid getting caught by Lady Bullseye and her fellow Darts, who are now on a (dead or alive) man hunt for her.
In her debut episode "Ride or Die" she was captured by Moon Girl, she called in for Agent Hill for Zakiya transport to prison, but unfortunately both Agent Hill and the rest the local S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were currently preoccupied with her duties and suggested that she take Zakiya to their detention center herself. With no other choice Lunella agreed and decided to take the up town subway to reach their head quarters, but unaware Lady Bullseye and her fellow Darts spotted them from above. In the subway tunnels the darts were able to sneak on and hijack the train where Zakiya managed to escape her cuffs and slip away. Lunella chased Zakiya up the train which lead them strait in to the Diabolical Darts, they fought and escape their trap. Soon they eventually got stuck in a bubble to avoid their knockout gas attack, while waiting the gas to pass both Lunella and Zakiya started to connect when she gave Lunella one of her baked goods and was amazed how delicious it tasted. Zakiya later told Lunella her backstory and how she quit the Darts, when asked why not asking S.H.I.E.L.D. for protection Zakiya explained that they nor anyone would be willing to help her and all care about on wanting to punish her showing the reality that when you are villain there are no such thing as second chances and people would only ever see them as the bad guys. Lunella felt ashamed for judging her too soon and felt sympathetic trying to think of a better way.
When Lady Bullseye took control of the train and threatening to crash it into the railyard. Lunella gave Zakiya her trust and together they fought back against the syndicate, defeated them, and saved the train. Eventually S.H.I.E.L.D. arrived at the scene and carted away Lady Bullseye and her Darts away to prison, but Agent Hill was about to take Zakiya away Lunella stopped her. She explained on how Zakiya helped her take down the Diabolical Darts and show Agent Hill that not all villains are bad people, and that they shouldn't be mistreated and they deserve their assistance on guiding them back on the right track. After some debating Lunella eventually jump started the L.E.S. good work program, a reforming project of putting villains in good jobs so they can repay their debt to society while at the same time making them model citizen to the community. With that Zakiya was able to get a job Bubbe Bina's Knish Niche Bakery, and eventually earning the trust and love of the people around the L.E.S. after they heard word of her whereabouts and tasting her treats.
Zakiya later returns as the supporting hero of the season finale "Shoot for the Moon". When Decoy terrorized New York with her clone army and pin Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur again the wall, She along with the other reformed villains recused her from the onslaught. They told Moon Girl how grateful they are towards for giving them a second chance and wanting to repay the favor to her and the town for making them the heroes they were meant to be, eventually leading to the birth of the Good Work Warriors. Together along side Moon Girl where able to defeat Decoy her clone army and save the city from total destruction and tyranny.
