Rabbid Cranky is one of the Rabbid protagonists that appears in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle DLC campaign Donkey Kong Adventure.
Personality[]
Much like his namesake, Rabbid Cranky is grumpy, irritable, determined, and knowledgeable. He is a bit more mature than other Rabbids, although still enjoys their antics, and is said to have an explosive temper.
Appearance[]
Rabbid Cranky has a long gray beard, big gray eyebrows, and his back is slightly hunched over. He also wears a brown vest, brown glasses, and carries a walking stick that opens up into a crossbow.
Aside from these distinctions, Rabbid Cranky has many of the usual Rabbid features in terms of appearance. He has white fur covering most of his body, stubby legs and hands with no visible fingers, a rounded head with long ears, a pair of bulging blue eyes, and a mouth that can open very wide. However, unlike other Rabbids, he possesses three teeth instead of two.
Powers and Abilities[]
In combat, the strength of his Boombow can vary depending on how close he is to his targets, but his secondary weapon can do some great damage. He also has good defense and mobility. When performing Team Jump, Rabbid Cranky will shoot any foes while he is in midair, and his Long Story will put nearby foes to sleep and make them lose a turn as long as they are not attacked after that.

Donkey Kong Adventure[]
Rabbid Cranky first appears after Beep-0 and Rabbid Peach are transported to a sandy atoll where he and Donkey Kong help them fight off a group of hostile Rabbids. Once the villains are dealt with, Rabbid Cranky explains that Rabbid Kong has been using energy from a part of the broken Time Washing Machine to become stronger and cause trouble. They all decide to work together to stop Rabbid Kong's operations and repair the Time Washing Machine so it can be used to send Beep-0 and Rabbid Peach back to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Trivia[]
- Under most circumstances where a Rabbid character dressed as a Mario or Donkey Kong character is around, the real Mario or Donkey Kong character is also present. This is not the case with Rabbid Cranky, whose counterpart he is based on is absent from the game. The same is said for Bwario and Bwaluigi, who each never met their Super Mario counterparts.
