~ Rabbid Luigi |
Rabbid Luigi is one of the Rabbid protagonists that appears in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and it's sequel Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.
He is voiced by Bruce Sherfield in the sequel.
Personality[]
Rabbid Luigi is timid, curious, and playful. A cheerful character who is a bit friendlier and polite than other Rabbids even though he still finds amusement in the mayhem they can cause. He also shares some traits with Luigi, such as being scared easily and tends to avoid conflict whenever possible What makes him stand out from the other Rabbids is that Rabbid Luigi takes note of other people's feeling and knows when to stop what he's doing if his actions are upsetting anyone, such as after Rabbid Peach pushes the block tower Rabbid Kong was on, which he laughs at, but he stops when Mario stares at him disapprovingly and at the very beginning of the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC Pack, he stops clapping when the Time Washing Machine ends up taking Rabbid Peach and Beep-0 with it. The only time where the exception applies is when during the Phantom's song that was insulting the Super Mario series, he still laughs at Mario, even though the latter is angered and upset about it.
In Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Rabbid Luigi has apparently matured a bit since his previous adventure but still retains childlike traits and is visibly hyperactive. He has taken up a cool guy with a jock persona as shown when he takes up a passion in skateboarding and is shown to be incredibly skilled and he also appears to love disco dancing which he also uses
Appearance[]
Rabbid Luigi has a green cap that is worn crookedly on his head and an oversized green shirt with sleeves that tend to droop over his hands. In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, his green shirt is not oversized with his sleeves being much shorter, and he wears blue overalls with a single strap.
Aside from these distinctions, Rabbid Luigi has many of the usual Rabbid features in terms of appearance. He has white fur covering most of his body, stubby legs and hands with no visible fingers, a rounded head with long ears, a pair of bulging blue eyes, and a mouth containing two teeth that can open very wide.
Powers and Abilities[]
He has good offensive and mobility in combat, as well as great defense. In Kingdom Battle, Rabbid Luigi's primary weapon is the yo-yo with elemental abilities called the Bworb, but its weapon damage is low, which can be compensated with Mario's M power. His secondary weapon is the Rocket a long-range weapon which shoots missiles at enemies. For movement, Rabbid Luigi has the unique Vamp Dash that steals energy from enemies while healing himself and also heals nearby allies, even if they don't have a weapon with the Vamp effect. Rabbid Luigi's first ability is the Super Barrier which defends against Super Effects which can be used in conjunction with Princess Peach's Protection ability to greatly reduce damage. His second ability is Weaken, which reduces enemy attack power which can be used alongside Peach's Protection to reduce damage.
In Sparks of Hope, Rabbid Luigi now wields the Discrupter, a frisbee like weapon that can hit multiple targets in a row. His technique is Exhaust which has the same effect as Weaken, as it cuts down an enemy's attack power considerably.
Trivia[]
- Rabbid Luigi's lack of a mustache is comparable to the live-action movie Luigi who also does not have a mustache.
- It was Rabbid Luigi who suggested that the fusion of Rabbid and Luma should be called Sparks.
