Rafael Bilford or Raf for short, is one of the main characters of the Japanese Light Novel Series, Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire.
He is voiced by Atsuchi Tamaru.
Overview[]
Rafael Bilford is the eldest son of the Duke from the Bilford family. He is the elder brother of Rafinha Bilford and an older cousin of the series' protagonist, Inglis Eucus. He is a young and promising Holy knight with a special class rune. He was picked on by Rahal until his little cousin, Inglis came to Rafael's aid and easily defeated that jerk, Rahal.
Years later, Rafael left his family and home to attend the Royal Knight Academy where he graduated and became a Holy Knight. He is also partners with one of the Hyrule Menaces of his country, Ripple. He is also close friends with Eris (Ripple's fellow Hyrule Menace and best friend).
He also befriended with Leone Olfa and aid her from his fellow knights who were harsh on Leone (due to her being the sister of the traitor, Leon Olfa) even though she is trying to get people's trust that she and her brother, Leon are nothing alike. He eventually reunited with his sister, Rafinha and cousin, Inglis when they both attend the Royal Knight Academy.
Appearance[]
Rafael is a young man with the strong resemblance of his mother and younger sister. He has black short hair and blue eyes. He wore a knight armor for men.
Personality[]
Rafael is a kindhearted, compassionate and devoting man. He is willing to risk his life to save those he cares about. He shown his strong love and loyalty to his family. He has a great love for his sister, Rafinha. He is close with his cousin, Inglis.
He is also honorable when he doesn't take anyone's harsh attitude very kindly when he is against those who belittled Leone Olfa (who is the younger sister of his former fellow knight, Leon Olfa) when he aided the girl disregarding of her being the sister of the traitor because Leon's betrayal has nothing to do with Leone when he treated her nicely (unlike the other knights).
He is not technically a pervert when his younger sister, Rafinha wants Rafael to marry Inglis.
Abilities and Powers[]
- Swordsmanship: As a knight, Rafael has promising for swordsmanship.
- Magic: Rafael has a good and promising of magic but not as strong as Inglis (who easily killed a dragon).
