Rajesh “Raj” is one of the main characters of the 2023 reboot of the Canadian animated series Total Drama Island and the tritagonist of the second reboot season. He is a member of the Frogs of Death in the first reboot season, a member of Team Skunk Butt in the second season, Wayne's best friend, and the boyfriend of Bowie.

He was voiced by Varun Saranga.

Appearance

Raj is an Indian-Canadian teenage boy who has dark tan skin complexion and dark brown hair. He has brown, round eyes. He wears his team jersey, blue shorts, and yellow sneakers that is very similar to Wayne's outfit.

Personality

Raj and Wayne are both very close friends who play hockey together. They are willing to save each other when they are together, but in the aftermath, they both got eliminated due to bad injures. He also trust his best friend and came out to him that he was gay. Shown in the first episode, him and Wayne tend to be a little immature, such as laughing when Chris boobie traps and laughing due to the fact that he said "Boobies".

• Raj is the second male Total Drama contestant of Indian descent after Noah (with Priya being the first female contestant of such descent).
• Raj and Bowie are the first gay couple in Total Drama history.
• Raj and Wayne came all the way from Northern Alberta in Canada.
• Raj and Wayne are disqualified from the show and sent to a hospital due to their injuries after they've fell from a mountain by a cassowary, making them the first pair of contestants eliminated through injury.
• Raj is a hotdog type.
• His full name, Rajesh, was revealed in the game Total Drama Island: Take The Crown. The name was then used in his and Wayne’s label picture.
