Rake is a supporting protagonist from DisneyToon Studios 43rd full-lenght animated feature film Planes Fire and Rescue.
He is an assistant fire officer and structural engine compatriot, Rake is Pulaski's sidekick.
Appearence[]
Rake is a yellow forklift who has blue eyes. On his sides are blue stripes with white borders and an insignia of the Piston Peak Fire Department initials. He also wears a blue helmet, which has the number 3 painted in white on the sides, the fire department's logo on the front, and a visor attached.
Personality[]
Rake has a way of keeping tourists at Piston Peak National Park safe from wildfires. He can also get angry if people make curtsies.
Biography[]
Rake first appears alongside Pulaski who had taken care of the Whitewall Fire where Pulaski found himself correcting Cad Spinner. The next day, Rake and Pulaski overhear Maru's warning about the fire and has four hours to evacuate, but Cad Spinner refuted these warnings.
During the unveiling, Rake stands by Pulaski who was angry at Cad Spinner who refused to evacuate the guests who soon panic at the sight of the fire coming close. As planes were making their escape, Pulaski instructs them to stay above the canyon walls and avoid the smoke to avoid getting incinerated.
When one plane cuts in-line of one plane struggling to get off the ground, Pulaski gets mad at him and is willing to allow Rake to take the plane apart if he does not get back in-line. This allows the plane to get enough energy to fly above the canyons walls and avoid the smoke.
As the guests were being evacuated across the road, Rake watches as fire jumps the road, blocking those who have not evacuated, and Pulaski's pump gets busted. Fortunately, Dusty and the firefighting team manage to extinguish the fire and dismantle the burnt wood blocking the road.
After Dusty was repaired and was given a new gearbox by Maru, Rake arrives as Pulaski shows Jammer, the new Superintendent, to Dusty after Cad was booted from his job.
