Ramirez (Fortnite)

Ramirez is one of the main protagonists of the Fortnite franchise.

She represents the Soldier Class. She is typically the model players use as part of the introductory quests. She is also available as a character in the Battle Royale version of the game, with her "Vintage" version serving as an Uncommon Outfit.

She is voiced by actress Adria Arjona.

Personality[]

Like many other playable characters in the game, Ramirez has a mostly upbeat, affable and friendly personality, cracking jokes and being friendly with her comrades, but knows when it is time to get serious and displays a great sense of duty as shown by her commitment to help rebuild the world after the catastrophe that shook it. She also has a more strict side, as she acts like a stern general to get the Plank Harbor survivors into shape.

Biography[]

Ramirez and her comrades are introduced in one of the game's trailers as the heroes summoned by Ray the robot to the Homebase, rescuing a mother and her child from a Husk attack and surveying their situation. After Ray the robot explains the situation, Ramirez communicates with her, obtains a weapon and begins her adventure with the help of the players. At the end of chapter 1, she and her team ultimately manage to purge the homebase and the neighboring area of Husks and train the survivors to defend themselves, in their process to rebuild the world from scratch, only to find out there are monsters in space as well. However, Ramirez is absent from the following chapters due to scheduling conflicts with her actress, with her role largely taken by Major Oswald.

The Ramirez Recruit outfit is a placeholder outfit, for example when textures don’t load and buggy eye models.
She and Jonesy are the most well-known characters of the game.
Vintage Ramirez CID is CID_884_Athena_Commando_F_ChOneRamirez.
A notable mistake in the Vintage Ramirez outfit is that she has her shades from Save the World resting on her hair. The Recruit Ramirez default from Chapter 1 actually never used them in Battle Royale, not even on her Season 0 Camo design.
