Ramona Victoria "Rammy" Flowers is a delivery girl and the deuteragonist in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. She dated Scott Pilgrim and had seven evil exes who challenged him and were ultimately defeated. Her weapon of choice is a large mallet. Also, she changes the color of her hair constantly.
In the 2010 film, she is portrayed by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who also played Wendy Christensen in Final Destination 3, Lucy McClane in the Die Hard series, Kate Lloyd in The Thing, Michelle in 10 Cloverfield Lane and Huntress in the DC Extended Universe.
Biography
Background
Not much is known about Ramona Flowers' past, but during her time in junior high, she dated Matthew Patel for his mystical powers. Due to his abilities, Ramona would have him ward off jocks that were pestering her, and later ended the relationship due to his unpredictable change in mood and behavior. In high school, she was stalked by Lucas Lee, and entered a relationship with him after he frequently asked her out. The two would date for a while until she cheated on him with Todd Ingram, who would develop telekinetic powers after he went vegan. Ramona describes her relationship with him as turbulent, as the two were the bad kids during their remaining years in high school, and he later proved his love for her by punching a crater in the moon.
After graduation, Ramona attended the University of Carolina in the Sky as Todd went off to vegan college, and the tow decided to end their relationship. While attending college, her roommate was Roxie Ricther, and the briefly dated since Ramona was curious on what it was like to date a lesbian. The two later broke up, with Ramona describing the relationship as just a "phase", and she started to date Kyle and Ken Katayanagi at the same time. When the twins discovered this, they broke up with Ramona, but didn't develop any hostility towards her. Around this time, Ramona encountered Gideon Graves at a party, and the two started to date, but Graves would use Flowers for his experiments with "the glow". She then broke up with Gideon when he started to push her away, but before she could leave a letter to tell him, she vanished into subspace when Graves arrived.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Traveling through subspace, Ramona arrived in Toronto, Canada and managed to get job as a delivery girl for Amazon.ca while also adopting a tabby whom she named "Gideon". While attending a party, she encountered Scott Pilgrim, who developed a crush on her and tried to get her attention. She initially ignored him at the party when he started to speak about Pac-Man, but would agree to go on a date after Scott got a package from Amazon just to see her. During their relationship, Scott would learn of her seven evil exes, who were formed by Graves to defeat Pilgrim.
