Randall "Memphis" Raines is the main protagonist of the 2000 film Gone in 60 Seconds.
He is played by Nicolas Cage, who also played Cameron Poe in Con Air, Big Daddy in Kick-Ass, Ben Gates in National Treasure, Ghost Rider in Ghost Rider, Stanley Goodspeed in The Rock, Balthazar Blake in The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Zoc in The Ant Bully, and Grug Crood in The Croods.
A retired car thief, he goes back into action when decides to help his younger brother, Kip Raines, who is in debt to crime lord Raymond Calitri. The gangster tells him to steal 50 cars in 24 hours, one of the cars is the 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang named "Eleanor". With help from his brother, friend Atley Jackson, their crew and Memphis' old girlfriend, Sway, he has no choice but to do the job; all while trying to avoid Detectives Castlebeck and Drycoff and a gangster and his criminal group. At the end, although he failed in delivering all of the cars, he kills Calitri and brings an end to his criminal empire.
