Rapidash is a Fire-Type Pokémon from Generation I. It evolves from Ponyta at Level 40.
Appearance[]
Rapidash is an equine Pokémon with four slender legs and black hooves. Its body is cream colored, and it has a horn on its forehead. It also has small red eyes and pointed ears with red insides. Red and orange flames stream from neck, part of its back, and its fetlocks. Flames also forms this Pokémon's tail.
Personality[]
Rapidash loves to run and is very competitive, it will chase anything that moves in hopes of racing it.
Powers and Abilities[]
Rapidash is very agile, able to run approximately 150-mph. With incredible acceleration, it reaches its top speed after 10 steps. At full gallop, Rapidash's hooves barely touch the ground, an all out gallop can cause its blazing mane to sparkle (a feature which is said to enhance its beautiful appearance).
It can also use its horn as a weapon, against its opponents.
Like its pre-evolution, it can control its flames so as to not burn its rider.

- Rapidash's name come from Rapid combined either with Dash (referring to its high speed) or Ash (reflecting its Fire-type).
