Raven Reyes is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Octavia) in the CW show, The 100.

She is portrayed by Lindsey Morgan.

Description[]

Raven is a mechanic working on the Ark. From the start of the series, she lands on Earth and is very useful for delinquents thanks to her mechanical skills, to create or repair equipment. She has as only close and as a family, Finn Collins, one of the teenagers sent to the ground. Most of the time, she saves her friends at the last moment when they are facing enemies or a natural disaster.

Raven is a 165 cm tall fit teenager with an athletic build. She has brown eyes and dark brown hair that she wears most of the time in a ponytail. Her attires during the first seasons are practical consisting of simple tops, jeans, jackets and boots. He clothes are usually are usually earthy or dark in color with her red jacket being an exception. On her left leg Raven wears a brace that helps her mopve.

History[]

As she finished fixing an exterior part of the ship, Raven asks to see her boyfriend, Finn, and then realizes the Council is hiding something. Then, she repairs an escape pod for Abby who wishes to go to Earth to prove that she is habitable again. However, Kane, a member of the Council arrests Abby and Abby urges Raven to leave for Earth without her, which the mechanic does. There, she meets Clarke and finds Finn. For a moment, Raven takes charge of being able to communicate with the Ark and is shocked to learn that Finn cheated on her with Clarke. Communication then works and Raven finally accepts that Finn is with Clarke. In We are Grounders, Part. 1, Murphy tortures Bellamy and Raven, in the basement of the dropship manages to activate the door and rescue Bellamy. In the process, Murphy shoots Raven before running away.

In season two, the survivors of the Ark arrive at the dropship and Abby takes Raven to Camp Jaha to heal her. She then undergoes painful surgery, supported by Finn but she loses the use of her left leg. However, Raven can still work, having to help Sinclair build a radio beacon and reunite with Wick, an engineer she knew on the Ark. However, she realizes that Mount Weather is scrambling the airwaves and Raven decides to destroy their radio tower. She later learns of the human massacre Finn caused to find Clarke and witnesses his death as he is killed by Clarke to avoid being slowly tortured by the Grounders. As Bellamy infiltrates Mount Weather, Raven helps her from Arkadia deactivate the acid mist. She goes to the scene herself with Wick to cut the power and is captured by Cage Wallace and his men. Raven is tortured and Cage begins harvesting bone marrow so that he can survive on the ground. But thanks to Bellamy, Monty and Clarke who irradiated the entire warehouse, the residents of the Ark are saved and flee. Returning to Arkadia, she returns Jasper his goggles.

In season three, Raven has more and more pain in her leg and for good reason, Abby forbids her to work. Due to her disability, Raven is the first resident of Arkadia to swallow the chip offered by Jaha to go to the City of Light. After a while, she wants to remove A.L.I.E. of his head but artificial intelligence prevents it by bringing back bad memories, such as Finn's death, in order to take away her free will. Thanks to Raven, the whole town gets chipped and Raven is taken to a cave by Jasper with the rover. Then her friends take her to Lyilah's place and tie her to a bed. They manage to remove the chip from her by opening the back of her neck and freeing her from A.L.I.E.'s control. Everyone then returns to Arkadia to find a way to deactivate A.L.I.E. and Emerson, a Mount Weather guard attacks them and kills Sinclair who dies of his wounds in front of Raven's eyes. Later, Raven decodes the A.L.I.E. system. with Monty and successfully helps defeat the AI ​​and the City of Light with Clarke who is in Polis.

In season four, Raven sets out to Becca Island with Luna, Abby, Jackson, Miller, Emori and guards from Arkadia. After being chased by drones from A.L.I.E. which were eventually deactivated, the group discovered Becca's laboratory, impressing Raven. During the rest of the season, she prepares a rocket and suffers from epileptic fits and hallucinations seeing Becca in her mind. She finds a way to survive by putting herself in an ice bath, supported by Sinclair whom she hallucinates. Upon exiting, she causes her heart to stop and comes back to life, suppressing her brain damage. She then continues to set the ship underway, and decides to survive in space to escape the Praimfaya, along with Murphy, Harper, Monty, Bellamy and Echo.

Raven spends six years in space and returns to Earth with her friends as another population of Eligius IV also arrives on the ground. She meets Miles Shaw, Gagarin's pilot, and falls in love with him. She worries about Abby who becomes addicted to pills because it reminds her of her mother, an alcoholic who died of drunkenness. After the death of Paxton McCreary, Skaikru seizes the Gagarin ship and settles in the Eligius IV before going into cryogenic sleep.

In season six, Raven learns with her friends about the death of Monty and Harper as well as the discovery of Sanctum, the new planet found by Monty. Clarke, Bellamy, and a few others travel to this planet while Raven stays on board with Abby and Octavia. Going there too, she learns with sadness of Shaw's death upon seeing his grave. In the village of the Primes, she meets Ryker Desai, another mechanic. She then works in her workshop but upon learning the truth about the Primes, she finds her friends and becomes Gagarin's pilot.

In season seven, Raven must lie to the Eligius Prisoners to fix Sanctum's nuclear reactor, not trusting them. However, she strongly regrets her actions after causing their deaths when she knew the dangerousness of exposing them to radiation. Later, she serves as a guide for Clarke and her friends by putting on a Disciple suit, explaining how to access the different planets.
