Ray the Flying Squirrel is known to be one of the goofiest characters in Sonic television shows, comics, and even in "movies". Ray has been stated as one of the only characters to have "wings" to glide through space, just like Knuckles.

Appearance

Ray is a yellow squirrel that has a hat and two gliders, also with goggles when moving through air.

Personality

Ray serves as the comic relief of the franchise. He is slightly younger than his best friend Mighty and is far less stronger than him, but he makes up for the lack of strength with pure enthusiasm and excitement. He has a affinity for adventure, often gliding to high places to get a view of the land below.

Powers and abilities

There is almost no superpowers about this little guy, however, he is energetic and can absorb massive damages when rolling in a ball, like Sonic the Hedgehog, or Mighty the Armadillo.

History

He was imprisoned on Eggman Island along with Sonic and Mighty.
