Biography[]

Before becoming a teacher[]

Rayshelle Peyton and her husband Darryl have moved to Springfield from Ghana and staying at Paradiso del Mare to find her new job.

In Bart's flashback, while Lisa is doing the documentary, Rayshelle sees that Bart is drowning and needs to be saved. She jumps into the pool to dive in to save Bart from drowning. However, instead of being grateful, Bart was embarrassed and shouted at her claims that he was an amazing swimmer and then ran away from her. She didn't know his name and referred to him as an "angry drowning boy."

Becoming a teacher[]

At Springfield Elementary School, in the office, Principal Skinner and Chalmers welcome a new teacher. As Skinner and Rayshelle leave his office, she meets Milhouse and Nelson, but Bart encounters her again after she saved Bart from drowning at Paradiso del Mare. He hides behind a locker. She states that looks familiar to him while she was in Paradiso del Mare. Subsequently, Bart starts acting weird.

In class, while the kids are doing work, she goes to Bart where he writes his paper with glue which he couldn't control himself. The next morning, before the assembly, she has an assignment for the kids to take their homework out. She goes to Milhouse first, but Bart destroys his own project. Bart then takes his stone and throws it out of the window. All kids keep away from Bart due to out of control. Later day, Ms. Peyton discuss with Homer and Marge about Bart behavior problems. She has tried to do her every intervention.

In the gym, Ms. Peyton is doing the new Seven Wonders of the World assembly, but Bart turns the worst and ends up screaming and destroying everything when an octopus Molly stuck him on his face. The assembly ends abruptly due to Bart having destroyed everything. Ms. Peyton was about to give up her career, but Skinner suggested switching classes. The next day, back in the classroom, Bart apologizes to Ms. Peyton for ruining everything. He has one more thing to tell the truth and wears his swimming goggles. She was then shocked to see him familiar while she was in Paradiso del Mare. Bart asks to want to pack her up, but she decided to stay and continue teaching.

Later the episodes[]

Quotes[]

Skinner: Boys, meet your new teacher, Ms. Peyton. This is Nelson, Milhouse and... w-who is that behind that locker?
Bart: Just me. Bart. Bart. Bart. [laughs] You know, like a seal?
Rayshelle Peyton: You look familiar. Have we met?
Bart: [robotic] No! You are a stranger. Stranger, stranger, overheating alert, alert, alert. [high-pitched] Shutting down. Self-destruct. [imitates explosion whistling]
Milhouse: Bart had Skittles with milk for breakfast.
Nelson: I told him he couldn't handle the rainbow.

~ Ms. Peyton meets Milhouse and Nelson, but Bart is acting weird.

Rayshelle Peyton: First of all, I am enjoying Bart's energy.
Homer: Uh, uh, you don't have to say nice stuff about Bart. We know the drill.
Rayshelle Peyton: Okay, good.
Marge: Just tell us what's wrong with him.
Rayshelle Peyton: To be honest, I'm not sure. I have tried every intervention I know. Letting him be the teacher. scaring him straight, dunce caps, genius pants, negging, Breakfast Clubbing, no recess, nothing but recess, puppy stickers.
Marge: Oh. Bart's always had his problems, but now it sounds like they're turning into... [cries] ...issues.
Rayshelle Peyton: Don't worry, I am going to get to the bottom of why he's acting out. Could each of you fill out this child development questionnaire?
Marge: You need to know how long I was in labor?
Rayshelle Peyton: Oh, does that question bother you?
Marge: No. No, not at all. I love it.

~ Ms. Peyton discusses with Homer and Marge why Bart is acting out.

Bart: Why did you do that? I was fine. I'm an amazing swimmer.
Rayshelle Peyton: I-I'm, I'm sorry, I-I thought that... (Bart runs away from her)

~ Bart shouting at Rayshelle Peyton

Rayshelle Peyton: Okay, a lot of big feelings.
Dewey Largo: I do love mess.
Luann: This isn't over.
Marge: Not by a long shot, sister.

~ Rayshelle Peyton and Dewey Largo pull each other away in Clan of the Cave Mom.
Rayshelle Peyton: Your brain can have a home on a shelf in the school science lab.
Bart: [grunts] Buddy hates science. He's like me. He's into MeatCanyon videos and doing wrestling moves on the dog and pouring Red Bull on pancakes!
Rayshelle Peyton: Bart, it might be healthy for you to take a break from Buddy.
Bart: And it might be healthy for you to have your own kid and not live through us! (ran off from her)
Rayshelle Peyton: I never should've told you that we were trying!
Sherri: Don't you worry. It'll work out.
Milhouse: It's only been three months. Give it time.
~ Bart refuses to put Buddy onto a shelf and then ran off from Ms. Peyton in Bart's Brain.
